Not to be rude but it’s kinda okay to put lights in your room because when it’s dark and u don’t like dark you can put light in your room so it doesn’t have to be Christmas to put lights up

Be careful using rubber bands, they can dissolve over time and start crumbling. For a dorm it's probably ok cause this is very temporary but in other cases maybe just use a hair tie.

For the desk, you could also hang a couple of mini picture frames in the space under the shelf! But, everything else looks so good. I love it!

Amazing transformation! The room looks a lot brighter and nicer in comparison to before! The only thing I would reccomend is to add more decor for the furniture; smaller things that could jazz up the furniture a little more so that the room looks a little less empty, but overall, I love it!
