Segment misses key points: What is "PMP"? At least say the word once, geeezzz. Also, from whom did the organs come? A single donor? Multiple donors? No mention of ongoing risks or the need for anti-rejection meds and steroids rest of his life. He's not really "cured," just "treated" in a miraculous way. He looks great.

What else best he could do. We know we can get cured. Being better is so big for us with people who have complete intestinal failure

How much did the whole transformation cost???? Removing and replacing those diseased organs cost a fortune.
How did they pay for it?
We have friends who died of cancer, so this is amazing.

These new treatments are mostly experimental so the patient does not pay. But this brings up an entire other can of worms......
To save one, verses saving 4-5 people at the very least.
      A moral dilemma.🤔

It's stories like this, why I removed myself from organ transplant list. This seems a bit schemey. Too sick to live but goes to most of the national parks. When he all the sudden got really sick the doctor who could do a multi organ trasnplant was at the Mayo Clinic. Forcing the insurance plan to cover a multi organ transplant.

They did that the first time and it came back

I'm sure 'standard treatment' at the mayo clinic is fine

I find that this is a moral dilemma.
One donor body can save the lives of at least 4-5 people .
    He got one entire body.
    1 life. Verses 4 lives. 🤷🏼‍♀️
