Back in the pre-internet days, I had a Tomix Shinkansen Series 100 and a couple of Tomix buildings (which I saw in this layout) on my layout at home. Good stuff!
@ America, yes. Tomix and even Kato were pretty rare then (90s), but between mail order and a local shop who would special order directly from Japan, I had some nice stuff. Had to sell it all after selling the house though, haven’t lived anywhere with enough room since. I definitely still miss my layout from time to time.
I'm always amazed at the extraordinary attention to detail that is given to every inch of Japanese dioramas, and this diorama is no exception. More than a diorama, it's a three-dimensional work of art. The cityscape and the natural landscape are both exceptional. I could spend hours enjoying them. The accident scene at 39:35, with its police cars and ambulance, was an inspired touch of realism which took me by surprise. Arigatougozaimasu for introducing me to another great must-see location which I hope to be able to visit one day. 👍🙂🚅

@@Choo-ChooTravel Attualmente non ci sono negozi con un layout rilevante, solo layout per fare i test dei treni. Questo è vero per i negozi più famosi. I layout più grandi si trovano nelle associazioni di appassionati modellisti.
