Really informative and enjoyable, thank you. The contrast in daylight was particularly helpful. I wonder, would you please consider doing a video on the best natural skin-like products to cover sun spots and blemishes. That would be brilliant!
Hi Dez 😊 wow where to start ??? First of all I want to say that the white top you are wearing is so attractive and completely lights up your face . Love it . I’m so impressed by this video. You’ve really gone to great lengths to help us understand these products. I’ll be watching this one a few times in order to really get all the information. Can’t say enough about how lovely your complexion looks close up . Love how you’re doing your eyes as well . So being a skin tint addict I’m going to try all of these . 😮 Dez you were meant to do this . I can’t believe how far you’ve come in such a short time . Fabulous, interesting and very enjoyable to watch . Look forward to all your videos no matter what the subject matter ❤
Oh Hilary, you say the nicest things - thank you so much! There are times when one feels a bit disheartened so to read your comments make my heart sing - pun intended! Have a lovely week and hope the weather keeps fine for you❤️❤️❤️
A really useful video, Dez - thank you. The biggest take-away for me was that you used a range of shades but all looked great on your skin. I think I'll try to find the Nudestix here in Canada. Thanks again - and have a wonderful week - Ruth
Thanks so much Ruth! I bought a Nudestix blusher too and it's really nice. Have a wonderful week yourself - Spring seems to have finally arrived in London!
Hi Dez, what a lovely detailed video. You put so much effort and research into your make up reviews, very informative. I really couldn’t tell the difference on each side to be honest, and when you consider the price difference, thats quite astonishing. I have just succumbed to ‘peer pressure” views and ordered the Lisa eldridge, really hope I like it. I’ve ordered T3. I was interested that you powder your skin tints. I do, but don’t really want to, it seems to defeat the object, so am going to try and make myself not powder for a few times to try it. Thankyou Dez, enjoyed this . 😊
Thanks Marjorie! I dont think I could live without powder - and my fave is still the Charlotte - I've hit pan on this my second one - I am too oily in the t-zone without it 😉 I hope you like the Lisa - it is nice and light.
You know how I love a SKIN TINT!!!!! Thanks for this fab review! My fave look on you is the HourGlass not given any consideration of price which is of course is a consideration. I've also been using a brush...using your recommended stippling technique shared last year. Why did you decide to powder may I ask? No on camera i can't tell the difference between the No 7 and LE. Loved this Dez :)
Thanks Cindy! I don't think I can manage without a powder, I'm too glowy otherwise. Only in the T zone, mind, and under the eyes. I might try going without now, just to see...you've planted a seed!
What a helpful video! My mom asked me to review tinted moisturizers on my channel and this gave me ideas for products not on my radar. I think I shall try out the No 7 and the Maybelline. I can’t tell you how shocked I was that Lisa Eldridge came in last! I love heretical rankings and views on products!
What a wonderful, comprehensive, and complete review of your top favorite skin tints! ❤️ your skin, without make-up looks fantastic @beautybydez 🥰 I've been on the fence about the Lisa Eldredge skin tint, but if it doesn't have longevity, I may have to pass. I found the Hourglass a disappointment, especially the price! The Maybelline Skin Tint has my heart! Thank you for sharing! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ 🌸 🥰
Hi Dez: I just watched your video on losing weight after menopause. IT HAS BEEN THE STRUGGLE OF MY LIFE!! My kids left the nest, my mom passed, and I went through a bad break-up with my fiance all while in the throes of menopause. I became unhinged; I chose not to take HRT. Anyway, I loved your idea of using a tape measure instead of the scale, as I'm.ready to chuck mine out the window... horribly frustrated every week when I get on. The fluctuations are RIDICULOUS! I'm actually 25 lbs more than I was premenopause, and, being petite,, there's no hiding it. I'm quite depressed about it, and have tried SO MANY THINGS. I don't know if I can afford the ebook on my tight budget at this moment, but I will be starting to try the tape measure now. Thanks for all your advice..I enjoy your channel and think you're just lovely. Rosemarie ❤️
Oh Rosemarie, it's so tough - I completely sympathise! I will be doing a video soon on weight, with particular reference to Zoe, the subscription app, how I got on, what I learned etc - don't worry, there will be no encouragement to spend any money on anything, I promise! And I need to revise the book in any case, as I've learned more about how we react to food since writing it. In the meantime, keep well, that's the most important thing! Thanks so much for your support - it means a huge amount!
Hi Dez! Looking at you, I would never have known you have two different products on. I have to say, in the individual breakdowns, I thought the Nudestix looked the prettiest! Thanks for all the work you put into this video. This information definitely helps!
Dez, I also like the Neutrogena tinted moisturizer, as it has a very decent SPF and coverage. I tried the Wet and Wild tinted hydrator. But, there is no SPF, which I like included, and, little coverage. Still, it's quite popular. Just my preference, not to have to use a separate sunscreen..You look fabulous! Thank you for sharing! Rosemarie ❤️
Thanks so much Rosemarie! I didn't include the Wet n Wild as I've talked about it so much on my channel, but I do love it and it gives very good coverage - it's similar to the L'oreal I think. I haven't tried the Neutrogena but we can't get it easily here in the UK for some reason. Have a lovely Sunday!
I have had major issues trying to find any foundation which feel and sometimes my skin looks like its flaking I do skin prep how do I find the correct foundation as a lot seem very orange I have used the huda skin tint and again looks orange I feel like I have been tangoed
Hi darling Dez. The Lisa Eldridge skin tint is on the pricey side. I wish Rare Beauty didn't add an SPF to their skin tint. I love the way the L'oreal Beauty tint looks on your skin. Very pretty. Oh how I wish it was Cruelty free. I'm not a big fan of the Saie Slip Tint. There's a beautiful foundation that I'm currently using which I'm loving. It's lightweight, a beautiful satin finish, and the color matches are great. It's The About Face foundation. They only drawback is that it has a doefoot applicator vs a pump. But I love it. I'll have to look for the No.7 Tint. It does look lovely! The No. 7 looks nicer than the Lisa Eldridge. Thank you so much for sharing your rankings on the skin tints. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday. Hugs. ❤❤😘
Ooh that foundation sounds fab! Annoyingly, we can't get it here at the moment - I just checked and they only have 9 products available at Selfridges - but the blush looks rather nice. I will keep checking. I did enjoy checking out new-to-me brands like Rare Beauty and Saie - have you tried their concealer? Have a lovely Sunday yourself. Daughter's birthday tomorrow, so we're having a pamper day ❤️
Happy Birthday to your daughter! Have a wonderful time tomorrow. I ordered the No.7 tint through your link. It looked so nice on you! I'm sorry that you don't get the products that we do, but you have much better sunscreens! Have a wonderful pampering day tomorrow!❤❤🥰🎈🎁🎉🎊@beautybydez
Thanks! I'm in the shade light (affiliate link here): UK amzn.to/3xY8H7O US amzn.to/44jjyFg I'm wearing every day at the moment as I'm testing it over sunscreens for an upcoming video 🙂❤
I dislike putting on foundation with fingers, as then as you touch anything else, even taps to wash hands, you have to go back and clean off fingerprints off everything!! Apply with a Brush, with a sponge for final blend, touchup, pressing in the powder and setting spray are my preferred way. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Lynette! I keep forgetting about a setting spray - I have one but it just sits there on my dressing table! I will give it a go as it might help with the longevity.
Yes, it seems that a lot of affordable skin tints and foundations contain alcohol. Slightly odd that it talks about being moisturising but contains alcohol. The same can be said of the L'Oreal Serum Foundation. Luckily for me it doesn't present a problem as my skin is fairly normal.
I love how Hourglass lights up your face. I love it!!
I can tell the difference! The No7 side is a nicer colour and gives a lovely glow! You look fab! X
Thanks so much! The No 7 is really good and worth it, I think.
Great video informative . Thanks

You sold me on the Nudrstick. I love Korean skin care.
Loved your logical and detailed ranking criteria…very informative! Happy Sunday Dez! ❤

Thank you for a great video. I just found you today😊. I love No. 7. I’ve been using it for the last month
Thank you so much - it is really, good, isn't it!
I've used the No. 7 and really like it.... excellent video, very interesting and detailed. Good to see different things that are on the market.
Thanks Jan!
Excellent content
Thank you x
Thank you so much! I got No. 7 tinted moisturizer, love it! Great alternative to Baremineral's which was my favorite, but too pricey.❤

Never used a skin tint but will try this year as foundation in the summer is a minefield.

I have to say the number 7 and the nude sticks was perfect on your skin. I wouldn't mind trying the number 7 for myself.❤
I'm glad I rediscovered No 7 as it had been a while since I used one of their products - they are really good!
Very informative and you are beautiful

Fabulous
I really like the Maybelline 24 hr. It's the only one that works
It is good, isn't it - popular for a reason!
The No 7 is showing alcohol in the ingredients list

I don't care for the Rare Beauty. It is not moisturizing at all. I do wear the L'Oreal and do love it.
It is really good - an OG I would say!
