Dear Paul Clem ~ 𝐍𝐎𝐋𝐀 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐦 is coming to Portland for Hall🎃ween! Please let me know where are the biggest public Halloween party spots in Portland?
I need something like street fairs and festivals where all are welcome, even if they have a professional video camera.
Has St. Helens canceled its festivities because it's gotten too big and dangerous? Greetings from New Orleans ⚜ and thank you.

The entire east side seems to have disappeared. Amazing. The largest physical part of the city just gone. Did it wash away in the Willamette? I guess we will never know.

Can you talk about resources for researching crime rates in a given area? When I asked my realtor, he told me something along the lines of providing that kind of information could be construed as exerting influence. If I change neighborhoods within the city, I’m going to want to be better informed on that topic
EDIT: I follow this channel because I can see myself relocating within the city but haven’t lived here long enough to be familiar with the pros/cons of various areas.

@@pjesf there is some gray area around providing that info, at the very least. Oregonlive.com has some crime stat maps I believe.

Nob Hill *would* be my favorite neighborhood in Portland, if it weren't for the parking- which is a nightmare. Most homes here don't have garages, and many don't even driveways, and the curbs are *always* filled.
My more practical favorite upscale neighborhood that wasn't mentioned is Laurelhurst. Centrally located on the eastside, Laurelhurst has charm to spare, with hundred-year-old craftsman-style houses and tree-lined streets that become green tunnels in the summer. The one downside is that the "support" businesses are mostly located on the edges of the neighborhood, so it's fairly car-dependent.
