Vista Grey is the color for 49. Mine starts in a second never fails. Sounds like the valve lash needs to be set or driven a little more. These cars were some of the best GM ever made!

I was "hearing" the same thing as you. Sounded like that loose valve coincided with the mis like there was/is one stuck valve/bent pushrod/bad cam lobe/loose rocker arm ??? Heard it immediately as they were driving it in!!

In 1950, they called it Falcon grey. green at times and grey at other times. A very interesting color. It also had a radio. Not a lot did have one.

    it does not sound right
    that loud noise
    and engine miss
I hope you are not losing a lobe or a tappet
I like these cars a lot , so nice ,

Nice car that needs a valve adjustment to stop the clicking. Do you have the ignition key turned straight up and down or did you turn it all of the way to the right....uh...thought so!

Good one Craig. You could leave the keys in this Chevy and nobody would be able to steal it...Everybody thinks the key has to be turned all the way to the right!

    Beautiful car 👍🏽😎👍🏽
I also love my 40 Fleetline 4 door with hydraulics 4 pumps 2 dumps. It’s a pleasure to have this beautiful car as part of my collection. As you mentioned that you love the fastback design on the 49 that’s the same reason I fell in love with it too 😁 thank you for the awesome video. God bless and stay safe. I look forward on your future videos.

It has Ford-style beauty rings. The guy was cranking it over without the ignition switch on. No wonder it wouldn't start. The lady couldn't figure out how to push the lock button on the rear vent windows to open it. Miss sounds like a bad valve. Exhaust sounds a bit too throaty. Wrong tailpipe maybe? Who knows what will happen to these cars as people who know nothing get their hands on them. Basically look like a real nice original who knows where it is now. Pray for it.
