I started working like a lot of kids delivering news papers in the 70s and then other little jobs until I started working with a major UK car manufactures.
After 36 years with them I retired early and now living my best life.
Trying to explain how working all your life will give you so many benefits in life and having a pension for when you retire makes it all worthwhile.
So whatever you have gained as a luxury because of your hard work you all deserve it and more.

Dave mentioned skill sets. It is very visible to the viewers each week, just how much improvement the guys are showing every week. I see you've always been good but as the guys get more experience the quality improves. It also puts less pressure on Dave. Stevie's block work has come on leaps and bounds. Hi Dave, card in should just show other work while doing walk around. The idea of doing 15 min rest at beginning of day will reduce break to 30min instead of 45 min. You cannot be on break while doing other work like walk rounds. Hope this helps

Just got to the point in today’s episode about whether to talk about your new car. Some people are nasty and jealous, I bought my husband a new car when my dad died using some of my inheritance we got really negative comments but ultimately from people that don’t count. Take no notice, you work hard and your business employs others so they can achieve too. Love your channel, it’s the only thing my husband and I watch together, without fail every Wed and Sun. ❤

My grandfather used to say that "one can cut granite like a diamond, but only the diamond will really shine". What is really precious is the combination of hard work and talent. Also Dave if you make a point to check all your tyre pressures across your fleet at least once a month this will help with tyre wear, damage, and fuel consumption. Although this should be done on pmi but not always, it will tell you on the tyre walls what pressures.
It is nobody's business how you spend the money you make, you work hard for the money and deserve to use it how you see fit. You don't need to explain to viewers how you spend the money. I’ve been past that quarry a few times when out for a ride over the dale’s and the peaks beautiful up there and great winding roads and then back to Ashbourne for some chips , great video Dave and co 🫶

You and Stevie have the trucks (OK they're work horses) but Bernie deserves a nice car / vehicle, plus its good to go out to places in a nice car & leave the trucks at home. love the attitude of dont drink or smoke so you reward your hard work with a nice car, funny thing is those that smoke and drink are likely to spend the same or more per month on sweet FA as you can spend on a nice car payment. i have a full time job plus a second under the radar job of fixing / serving cars, somebody can ring me at 8pm sunday and if there is money there ... then so am i

D&J Projects just popped up on my feed a few weeks ago, looked forward to watching ever since! Find what you do and achieve in your projects really interesting, I’m actually learning as I’m watching. I’m from Chesterfield but now live on the south coast, so wish you were nearby as we are just about to have a new block paved driveway done. Realise now all the work involved that has to be planned.
