I ordered the Malkin Winter Classic directly from the Mitchell and ness website, and it was packed in bubble wrap and nothing was creased. Hopefully you’ll have better luck ordering from them if you get another one!
were both in va, last mashalls i went to had the ovechkin winter classics for 80, not my size sadly (i would have bought even if the red is off). on ebay im seeing a lot of the detroit mitchell and ness jerseys show up so those are likely at marshalls in michigan.
Took me a few years, but I did get an original reebok version of the Av's stadium jersey back in 2022, was pretty pricey for a blank. Not sure M and N are using the correct shade of blue on the arms though - looks a couple of shades too light to me (sorry).
Yeah colors look off a little bit. You’re lucky to have the reebok version, they hard to find, usually pricey & gone fairly quickly when i do see one occasionally.
Small note on all M&N replica jerseys (This goes for NBA, NFL, and NHL): The all are made with the same fabric, regardless of the jersey they are representing. They also are all cut the same. The only way we'll get accurate fabric on the NHL jerseys is if M&N releases authentics, bu be prepared to shell out $350+ for those.
The $200 price tag might be a misprint since that was the price for the "Blue Line" jerseys. The fabric on the on-ice Edge 2.0 jerseys were standard airknit by this point. So, the fabric on the Mitchell and Ness jersey is more on-ice accurate compared the Reebok replica.
I'd have to see one of those on-ice Reebok's because they're very different from everything else I have. Maybe there'll be good stuff at the game-worn jersey expo
My question is how thick the logo is...some of those throwback / team classics that adidas put out had sewn on logos, but seemed to be of poorer quality than the current nhl jerseys
Nice! The Avs played the Duquesne Dukes in the Stadium Series that year!

BillDipperly here, Been waiting for a powerplay review because they look interesting
that crease in the crest was heartbreaking
I bought a jerseys before they “fixed” their quality. Glad it seems they fixed it but I’m still a little bitter about trying to get another one.
Penguins leading scorer Dick Tarnstrom
And it's autographed! Sitting on a gold mine there...
@@uglythirdsAn Edmonton Oilers legend!
i would really like to buy the 2009 winter classic red wings jersey they have but they still have not fixed the number positioning on the back.

@@rambling-along93 yep, I will absolutely concede this point. Those later game-worn Reebok's looked exactly like CCM airknit
@@uglythirds Awesome. I have two team-issued Reebok jerseys and the build quality of those are fantastic.

There's not a ton of embroidered sections to go on, but it feels like a fairly heavy twill. Feels CCM-like
ive seen blue lines showing up at marshalls for 80 dollars and wouldnt mind getting one for that price. i think if it was 60 it would be ideal.
Really? I always hear about TJ Maxx or Gabe's and I've never seen one there myself. Kills me. I'd pick up the Willie O'Ree one at that price
