- Just eating in the Hospital cafeteria on the sudden the alarms started going off we were told to evacuate but after the fire department arrived and reset the fire alarm system the cafeteria was reopened my guss it was probably burnt food.
It was kind of strange that only the cafeteria was evacuated. I bet everyone could hear the Fire Alarm.
There are certain procedures for evacuating patients and staff especially those in the ICU and other areas of the hospital where lives are hanging on the line.
Suzy Petion pulled the children's hospital fire alarm and she went to JAIL 0:05
The hospital I used to work at had a Simplex fire alarm system too, but it just made chiming sounds on the speakers
my nearest hospital has the simplex 2099 9139 pull in the parking lot, simplex 2099 pulls inside. in second, third, and forth floot, they had a trualert evac. also some weelock chimes with a silver plate in the first floor.
Fire in the basement, boiler room
"Code red basement, code red basement, boiler room"
I love this Fire Alarm!
Yep let’s ignore it everyone
Is that at Boston Childrens hospital?
YES IT IS
That is at Boston children's hospital. They have simplex truealerts and simplex life alarms.
Correct! It’s a 4100u network too! I also saw a 4903/pre-Truealert as well along with truealarm detectors and t-bar pulls
0:57 why are there two of them right next to each other?
I’m glad at least someone noticed because my comments get deleted from from Any video
I have been to this hospital. There is a sign below it that says that one is used to alert you about an emergency in the area (they call them halls) and the other one is the main alarm
To go further on if the emergency was in the cafeteria for example, one of the alarms would only go off if it was in the cafeteria along with the one next to it. If it was somewhere else in the building, only one would go off. One of them is technically an indicator
@@Italian-h1n I see
@@idkanymore9590 it’s just very weird how they put them directly next to each other instead of separating them

Is that a Simplex 4100u voice evacuation system? I like the code-3 tone. Other than that I hope you guys are alright!
That happened in my hotel in Dallas and it was a waffle burning
I can't hear the announcement very well but from what I heard it sounded like he said the condition of the code red was in the basement.
I went to that hospital to get an x-ray. It is right next to the doctors office I go to. I mean like exactly across the street no lie
JESUS more annoying than the integrities in my school damn it
I have to respectfully disagree with you on that one I'll take a voice evacuation system over integrities, spectrAlert Advances, EST Genesis, or True Alert horn strobes any day!
Gary Beltz Integrity is loud.
Specialty Elevators and UEE's by Technicalboy3000 Yeah and it also depends on what volume as well
Gary Beltz my school has it on the lowest volume setting and it is still really loud even spectralert is much quieter
HC EleFilms by Technicalboy3000 I hate both alarms ugh
the alarms sound cool

What Hospital is this at
childrens in boston
What was the cause of the fire alarm to go off or was it just a test
By the way nice vid.
cool
y u said money
it was a joke about money
I take my son there
why was there two speaker strobes right next to each other
The ones with signs below them are for separate buildings. Example: "This device is used to indicate a code red in the main building. You are in the Farley building."
0:58 Two strobes?
It has a sign under it that says that the one of them is connected to another building. So they are on separate systems. Mainly to worn you not to enter said building if it is sounding. So it is not a fail.
did everyone evacuate the building?
Just the cafeteria.
oh
which hospital?
Boston Children’s Hospital in Boston Massachusetts
