- After last weeks Amble Pier solo session, I wanted to get straight back out to help grow my confidence ready for the coming winters night fishing.
I went to Seaton Sluice, which is near where I live, a place that I know well.
I fished a couple hours down to low and one hour back up, into dark.
As always thank you, as you say it's the experience, and not the amount caught. Tight lines 🎣 looking forward to your next adventure Neil
Thanks Neil
Hopefully we’ll see some fish on the next one 🤞
When I go fishing Danielle its the anticipation that gets me. Being with nature and mental rehabilitation and letting the crap of the bid bad world wash away. Plus its called fishing and not catching 😂. Great content once again Missy ❤❤
Thanks Stephen
Yeh, it’s great for getting away from all of the noise, when your fishing- that is all that’s in your mind, a great stress reliever
Love your commentary, I also catch nowt, amble Saturday night and was shown up by my 14 year old grandson but hey ho, good to see your thinking safety all the time, well done,
Thanks Eddy
I think we all catch nothing, more than we catch something 😆 but still we keep coming back for more 🎣
Good to see you back doing what you enjoy. All the very best and tight lines
Thank you 🤩
Love your fishing videos Hinny. I’ve live in Australia for over 60 years but was a junior member of the South Shields and District Sea Angling club before I emigrated. Fishing here is not what it was but pretty good still. Great to see there are still some nice codling to be caught on the spectacular Northumbrian coast. Keep the videos coming.
Thanks Gordon
Great comment, wow, from Shields to Australia, what a life journey.
I think fishing isn’t quite what it used to be everywhere now, there’s less and less fish around these days - that doesn’t stop us trying though 🤩👍🎣
Great attitude to adopt Danielle. Fishing has so many benefits. Catching a fish is a bonus. Keep enjoying and stay safe.
Thanks Ray
Yeh I can highly recommend it for well being 👍
Hi I am pleased you're getting out good video from Dennis and John the codwhispers 🎣🎣
Thank you Dennis and John 👍🎣
@@fishinghinny we go out and we get blanks like what you say it's the fun getting out 👍🤞🎣
That sunset was worth being out fishing for in itself , chunky little shore rocking (slug!) so no blank at least . appreciated as always Danelle. 🎣✌🏼
Thank you
Yeh that was a cracking sunset, made the evening so much more enjoyable watching as the sun crept down behind the harozon 😊
Well Hinney that looked another beautiful evening with a small rockling to save the blank ....the codling are a comin !!!
Thanks Adam
Yes, it’ll not be long until there’s a Cod on the rod 🤩🎣
Nice one Danielle , a nice safe place to fish i know it well , once again great content tbf , so as always take care & please be safe
Thanks Steve
Yeh, I’ll have to check out the different marks around that spot, I noticed people fishing the beach close by and people fishing all along to the right of where I was
lovely video, greta to see you out and having a mgood time. tight lines.
Thanks Stephen 🤩
At least you didn't blank Danielle 🎣 we're definitely needing a cold snap to help thing's along 👍🏻 keep plugging away and take care on the rocks 👍🏻
Regards Arnie
Thanks Arnie
Yeh, that rockling made my day 🤩👍
A bearded rockling is not a blank you do it and we appreciate it and support you.
Thanks Barry
Yeh no blank, just not target, but I’m happy with that. Better something than nothing 🤩👍🎣
Hi hinny, love watching your videos, love the way you power cast👍, I take my daughter out doing bass fishing she's loves it, it's good to see girls fishing, we do alot of fishing on the Northumberland east coast for the cod season 🤣love it, keep safe and tight lines, hope there are loads of cod this season 🎣 Karl from preston 16:00
Thanks Karl
It’s great that you fish with your daughter, that is spot on 👍
At least you've caught a thumbs up from me Hinny . Great video.
Haha thanks Mick
A very welcome Rockling, not what I wanted, but, very welcome to save the blank that night 🤩👍
I really love your channel. I haven't been doing much fishing myself or watching fishing channels I follow due to work. I'm gonna try n watch some of your previous videos. It's actually great to see a woman into the sport. Keep it up. Atb x
Thanks Keith 🤩
Much appreciated
There’s some cracking fish in some of my previous videos, happy viewing 👀
Beautiful video, very scenic. Luckily for me, catching it’s never the be all and end all. Like you though, I look at my delicious looking baits and wonder why they aren’t consumed by fish. 😂
Thanks Jim
Yeh the fish can be picky with their food 😆
Brilliant Danielle, I loved watching this.
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed the vid 🤩👍
Often when I’m fishing I bail up and think the same as you, how could a fish refuse that fantastic bait, they invariably do though. Until the next one Danielle ❤️🐟.
Haha yeh, the fish can be very picky 😆😆
Good to see you oot n aboot lass.
Thanks Hugh 🤩
Great attitude Hinny, 64 mph winds tonight, so I'm stopping in. Well done & thanks for posting again
Thanks Ash
Yeh, that strong storm is blowing out there just now, don’t think there will be many out fishing tonight 🤷🏻♀️😆
You enjoy fishing
I enjoy watching thank you😊
Haha thanks Graham
What a team 🤩👍
nice to see you out enjoying your self again danielle.
Thanks Brian 🤩👍
That's fishing for ya you still gave it a go.🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
Thanks Rob
It’s always worth getting out and having a go 👍
Hi Danielle, another beautifully filmed video, another 4-6 weeks should see you pulling the cod out again, can't wait eh! 😀
Thanks David
I’m looking forward to getting a few nice cod hopefully this year, I’ll be giving it my best 🤩🎣
Great effort again dani
Thanks David 🤩👍
It's all ups and downs. Staying safe is the main thing Danielle and enjoy.
Thanks Thomas
Yeh fishing is like a roller coaster, one minute your up then down and back up again 😆😆 it’s all good fun 🎣
Well done Danielle for keeping at it 😊 Just about to start my spring surfcasting here in NZ, first target is Rig (very similar to your Smoothounds)
Thanks Ian
Hope you have a great spring season on the fish 🤞🎣
Awesome video 😊
Thanks Stephen
That was an awesome Rockling 😆 it saved my blank 😊
Awesome looking location Danielle 😮 ,can catching a slug save a blank? 😮, pland a session 4 Sunday, but rain stopped play 😢 it hissed down , when I fished broken ground , I used a nut , or bolt or better still a hag stone 😊. Happy catching from Australia Nick 😊
Haha yes, definitely Nick 😆 it would normally be brushed aside as bi-catch, but on this occasion I welcomed it with open arms and a smile.
I do have some nuts and bolts put away to use on rough ground, just keep forgetting to take them with me 🤷🏻♀️😆
Hiya Hinny. Another belter of a video. It's the reality of fishing that you blank, but your enthusiasm is really infectious.
You were talking about the barnacles giving grip on the rocks. Have you tried those screw in studs? They work a treat.
Tight lines kidda
Thanks Alan 👍
I do have those studs in my waders, makes a good difference to grip 👌
Never feel like your pressure to do anything Danielle hun if u unsure on it don't do it c9nyent still good if u need a companion to fish a night with then am happy to oblige and many others long as we are all safe it's the key winter is here now vhf radio if u ever alone guys
Thanks Daz
Yeh winter is definitely a time to be much more cautious for everyone. Safety is priority all year round but let’s all stay hyper alert while we are fishing the coming months 👍
🎣👍
Thanks Karl 🤩
Wish for a fish,good catchphrase.
Not many fish at the moment.
Hss 2 blanks at Beadnell.
Thanks Audrey
Yeh, I think ‘wish for a fish’ will be making an appearances in future videos 😆🤩
I’m hoping to break my blank spell over next few days, I’m away in the morning up to Scotland for a bit fishing
🤞😊👍
Great craic. Daniell what the luminous rod tip you use on the end of your rod?
Thanks Sean
I can’t remember what make the tip light is, I didn’t really take much notice when I bought it from Sports & Leisure in Blyth. It’s cracking bright though 🤩
@@fishinghinny Cheers. It's grand. I'll be looking out for one 😎
Never mind you don't have to catch a fish without that rockling you would have cried yourself to sleep lol
Haha thanks Dave
I’m the Rockling was a very welcome catch on that trip 🤩👍🎣
Couldn’t agree and more if you caught every time you wouldn’t enjoy it as much well done
Thanks Judd
Hope you’ve been doing well 👍
It's not all about catching Danielle, it's getting back on the horse, so to speak, tried there once or twice in the past during the summer months. I did however get my biggest coalie further round to the right, on the float about 3years ago. 🎣🎣
Thanks David
Yeh there’s tons of marks all along here, I’ll have to do a fly over drone video of the full area at low water to show all the spots 👍
I saw a RUclips video a few days ago from someone who did just that. At the same place. Adding the names of the marks, eg the posts, back of the kings etc. still a good idea tho. Years ago I had a wall chart, naming the marks from Tynemouth to blyth. That unfortunately went missing over the years. 🤔🎣🎣
I’ll check out that video 👍
Try coming over to Cambria not silloth it's crap in winter try maryport prom Pier grasslot shore flimby Whitehaven big Pier
Thanks Ian
I’ve made a note of this, I do plan on heading west for a session hopefully before the new year 🤞
