Hi Anna. Happy New Year. What a cute card layout. Thanks so much. I stopped "official" resolutions years ago ... but that being said, I have made a conscious effort to be more kind and patient. Also, I am working on trying to live a healthier lifestyle. ❤😊
My life is so much better since I found a balance of activity and rest. I’ve learnt to say ‘no to the good, so I can say yes to the best.’ There is a very good reason God gifted us with Sabbath rest. For me, sabbath is not necessarily a whoLe day, but several times of conscious rest. As active Christians, it can be easy to say yes to every good thing, but just because it’s a good thing, doesn’t mean YOU have to be the one to do it. Listening to what God has chosen for YOU means you won’t risk burnout. God never calls us to more than He equips us for.
So, if you want to add one thing this year, make it rest, with is effectively taking away something!
Praying your 2024 is your best ever.
Love these cards! My brain doesn't work this way, so this will be a real challenge for me, which is good! Meanwhile, my only resolution is to sit down every day/evening and read! That relaxes me but I seldom do it. So far, it's really working well! God bless!
Hi Anna , I love your pull cards. Super cute! Can you please tell me what you have marked your trimmer with. Is it a marker of some kind or paint? I have been doing something similar for years but yours stands out so well. Thank you.
I love this card. May I suggest that you stamp the pull tab with the part that you cut out of your background. For example the sub card. Stamp your pull tab with the fish or maybe even take that part that was cut out and glue that to your pull tab. Looks like your fish will be swimming as you pull it. Again I love this card. Thank you
Im curious if you have been diagnosed with adrenal fatigue/insufficiency. I was and it took me 2 years to recover and I still struggle with doing too much when I start feeling good. Some of the things you talk about are things I’ve learned as well.
Cutest card I have seen in a while. I made some similar ones many years ago, but they were much more involved, and you have simplified them a lot. Thanks, I may try them again. And thanks for the inspiration to slow down and rest. We all need that.
My 6 year old niece is in the hospital and I'm going to make this for her, she'll love it! And you could even take the stamped image that was cut out and adhere it to the sliding part to the right of the submarine! So cute! And thanks for ALL you do to help our spiritual sides! I value it so much
