More than RE9 however, I really want to know what Capcom intends to do about that "someone's gotta pay" ending of RE8 Vilage where Chris and the Hound Wolf Squad discover that BSAA was deploying bioweapons in the village. Chris did order his team to "plan a course" to BSAA Europe HQ, so I wonder what happened between that conclusion and the events of "Shadows of Rose" (which is set 15 years later). Could it just be that RE9 will actually be set between the "someone's gotta pay" ending of RE8 Village and Shadows of Rose? Personally, I feel that RE9 will begin from RE8's ending with Chris where he heads for BSAA Europe HQ.
Based off the leaks and rumors, the consistent rumors seems to point out that they're not going to focus at all about Chris going after the BSAA, which is strange considering the cliffhanger from Village. Capcom is particularly known for leaving loose ends unresolved. But if you ask me, I think it's going to be a really good plot for a Revelations 3 game with Chris as the Main character.
It looks like they are focusing on something totally new, the year is set in 2025, 4 years after Re 8, and that it's going to take place in South East Asia, particularly inspired by Singapore. With the protagonists starring Leon and Jill. After so many appearances from Chris starting from Re 5 to Re 8 to the CGI movies, and with him slated to appear in the upcoming remakes. I think they're going to sit Chris' out for any new mainline entry for the time being.
@@pinoynobody211 Right, right. That makes sense, to have Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine make a proper return. Southeast Asia seems particularly good to me. But then again, let's see what plot ideas they have in mind. But of course, we have yet to receive an official title, synopsis and release window for RE9 from Capcom's side, and I do not think they can provide any of that before spring of 2025.
@@pinoynobody211Chris hasn't been the main protagonist since Resident Evil 5. Leon has more appearances as the main protagonist lol

@@2whanne To be very honest, even RE8 Village was mostly an action game with a Resident Evil brand of horror.
The only character I want to see is Chris.

I would love for Billy Coen to return. He is a fan favorite, yet has only been in one game. I hope the rumors or a RE0 remake are true because I would love to play as him again.
I just hyped we’re getting a Dead Rising remake in the RE Engine. That was seemingly out of nowhere. RE9 is still likely at least a year off so I’m sure we’ll get more as we get closer.

I'm agree with you 💯 , the developer reference to re9 and I have big reason for it , btw this developer job are fascinating, because he developed re revelations 1 which it's story are so wonderful 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Im having my doubts about this RE9 game, if this is the director of RE7 making RE9 im not too excited for RE9 due to the fact that i hated RE7 and RE8 so i dont see how RE9 would be any better, i gave up on this RE franchise ever since RE6, I'll just stick to the RE remakes

Terrible take 7 and 8 are some of the best in the franchise. Ethan won’t be showing up because he died but idc if it’s first or third person. Both are fine as long as the game is good.
