  • We looked everywhere for an install video for the 2019 F150 and up RCI skid plates.
    Unfortunately we couldn't find one.
So we figured we would make a video. Thought the install is pretty self explanatory, there were some minor details I feel should add some value.
If you have any questions let me know.

Looks like a good job. Im going to have to replace my RCI plates , all 3-of them for the Aluminum ones due to the Northeast destroys the powder coating and invites rust which I have been fighting with for over three years. Good video. best of luck with them.

So just got mine installed. I have the diesel motor. My front plate required me to remove the cross member holding the intercooler. My truck didn't have the room to fit bracket otherwise. Only added a few min. Also transmission plate passenger side rear hole could not fit a clip. Unfortunately I had to use a large self tapper in this location. Other than that everything lined up great!. Your video helped a bunch. Thanks

Thanks your video help me with the install of the transmission skid plate on my 2019 F-150 crew cab 3.0L Powerstroke diesel rwd. It fit perfectly with a PPE Heavy Duty Deep transmission pan installed.

How did you get the speed clips over the burr? I dropped the intercooler mount to get access, but I cannot seem to get the speed clip over the burr between the square hole and the round hole.

Sorry I am just seeing this. I think i just tried using a flat head screw driver. Hopefully you found a way to connect. that was my toughest part to installation also.

@@gripitoffroad All good. I was able to get it mounted. Took some work though.

I had to pry the clip open in a vice, I could not get it to go on otherwise.

Looks awesome. Is the oil change hole sufficient and do you have a lift (what lift) and tire size

The hole for the skid works, but it's tough not to spill all over the skid when it drains tbh.
It's a 35.inch ready lift and I have 35 tires. I needed to trim a bit to fit

I just placed an order for this set. How is it working out for you? Take care.

Love it so far. Only complaint is a bolt came loose. I think it was the clip that failed. Not huge deal.

Definitely hit a few rocks with it and it holds up really well!
