San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter Hotel Review

- The Marriott Rivercenter Hotel is one of many hotels located along the San Antonio River Walk. It is connected with the Rivercenter mall, and it has immediate access to the River Walk. The hotel also has two restaurants, a Starbucks, a gift shop, a FedEx Office, and a fitness center. I also show off one of the rooms which I stayed in. At the end of the video I give my rating of the hotel and the overall experience.
TIP: I forgot to mention this in the video, but if you would like to have a hotel room facing the River Walk, ask for an odd-numbered room!

I don't blame you for wanting to get away from the cold weather in Michigan ! I live in Pennsylvania and am tired of this cold weather, also ! I've been to San Antonio and Austin, Texas, and love them

I like that you are doing Hotel reviews now! I like doing reviews of hotels on Trip advisor. I used to work at a Marriott in Williamsburg Virginia years ago and we love the brand. Would love to visit San Antonio someday and that is a perfect location. That parking rate is ridiculous though. Great review Scott!!
Thank you! It is something I wanted to start sooner. I've been very happy with the Marriott-branded hotels, and I usually try to stay in those whenever possible especially in North America. The location for the hotel was perfect! I agree about the parking rate. That's why I only rented a car for the latter half of the trip. I was going to rent a car regardless for the second full day, but I figured the price would be the same to keep the rental car parked at the hotel until the next morning as it would if I got an Uber from the rental car facility to the hotel and back to the airport. Looks like a very nice hotel, wow. I can't believe the parking $37 I remember motels cost that price haha. I travel alone like you. U can do what you want freedom! Great video.
I really enjoyed the hotel, and I definitely would stay there again. I do agree that the parking rate was steep, but I only had to worry about it the last night I was there as I had a rental car for the last 24 hours of the trip. Solo travel has its advantages! Every once in a while, it is fun to travel in a group or with someone else, but the freedom of solo travel gives you plenty of options! Thanks for watching!
Plush hotel Scott. Loads of amenities and great location too. 24/7 fitness centre is ace. The rooms look cosy and the bed comfy. That TV is huge!! Sounds like you had a great stay here overall. $37 is very pricey we agree - it should come with the price of the room.
The bed was quite comfy especially after all the sightseeing I did. I would definitely stay there again as long as I don't have a car. The parking rate was steep! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the review. When I saw the pictures of the lobby, and the landscaping, and everything, the word "Godless" comes to mind. Everything looks so cold and institutional/commercial, devoid of anything real. I would probably go into a depression if I had to stay in that God-forsaken place, but I realize it could be just me. Ha ha!!
I thought the lobby was pretty nice, but I wasn't in the lobby much during the trip. I usually went straight to the elevator when I came in from sightseeing. Thanks for watching!

The elevators there are nice, they are Westinghouse but now they are getting modded with Schindler port
