with gold you can play online with friends etc get games downloads etc and if you don't have gold then you have silver and silver you can do anything pretty much so you can't play online but if you don't know how to get gold then you buy cards that say "3 month gold membership" which cost like 30$-40$ bucks i think and theres a 1 year gold for 60$.
How much does it cost?, please answer! ,

Guys for those who say "i have wifi but it doesn't work" . You need a wifi adapter or a network cable. For the wifi adapter just put it on the back of you xbox and flick up the attena. Most likely you will use the network cable it's much easier. Just plug one end of the cable into the back of the tv console. ( the one that you have to turn on to be able to watch TV) then just plug the other end into the back of your Xbox
so do u need a wireless adapter or ethernet cord to first connect then u need to buy the xbox live gold membership cards ever month if u want gold?
A few questions:
1. If UR under 18 R U still able to play M rated games, and is there any different setup ?
2. Can U use a profile U already created, and use that one for Live, or do U have to completely make a new account ?
3. Can U play online with Xbox Live, or do U have to have Xbox Live Gold to play online ?
