    This guy/gal is very lucky. Even on a simulator, it is very hard to fly at 10k+ altitude mountains on Cessna. I think the plane must be complimented, as these Cessna's are one of the best and hence used for training.

    Well, hopefully there was a very good lesson learned here. Remember, there are bold pilots and there are old pilots but, there are no old bold pilots.

    Stalling in an airplane is Stall of Lift not engine stalling. It will just fall with out a maneuver to regain airflow speed over the wings. Pilot did a fantastic job. Plane was under powered for that kinda terrain

    Well a Cessna 150/152 is a two-seat airplane. Not sure if pilot had one passenger in there with him.

      You are totally wrong sir! This is 100% pilot error
      Mountain flying (this) requires a whole other level of planning and precision compared to your regular guy flying above flat farmland!
      Cessna 152 up in the mountains is not the best choice though

      @@user-nk4td9bg6w What specifically in my statement is wrong? I will _never_ fly in a 152 again. My very first flight hour was logged in a 152, kept bumping elbows and shoulders with the instructor, it's way too small and in my experience, under powered compared to the 172R. I never said anything about fault but do agree it was pilot error.

      @@Dan007UT I trained at Truckee Tahoe airport and they did not have any 152's on the line, 172 was the minimum trainer

    In Wyoming we have had planes crash into the side of the mountains and not been able to find the wreckage.
