i still lament the lack of color in most of the scenes (though I genuinely enjoyed the film as a whole), so seeing this sequence as being the most vibrant in the movie really put a huge smile in my face 🐠🐡🧜♀
I love your video, I love that you enjoy it and can appreciate it. Her voice is amazing and imaging she recorded this at 18, and she 23 now? So her voice is probably even more remarkable
I love that Ariel is singing with Sebastian in this song 🎶 I also enjoyed the ocean visuals, all the sea creatures were dancing and Ariel with the blowfish was adorable
Sounds great. Very showy visuals. I was wondering how they were going to have the sea animals playing "instruments", they just didn't, even though they didn't change the lyrics. Byu Vocal Point released their version of "Cruella De Ville", so much fun. And of course it's Acapella.

Visually it's stunning but I feel like they made the same mistake with Little Mermaid as they did with Lion King....they focused more on making the singing "beautiful" instead of emotional and "Disney-esque". For example Beyoncé put so many pop-style runs in "can you feel the love tonight" that it sounded more like a concert than a Disney movie, and I feel like Little Mermaid did the same thing. EXCEPT "poor unfortunate souls" which McCarty NAILED! But that's just my opinion of course 🙂
Maybe for this one but have to disagree with just "Poor Unfortunate Souls" . "Part of Your World" and it's reprises had such beautiful vocals and emotion to it. If anything I thought Halle's version had so much more emotions and dynamics which made it better - wasn't the only one who nearly teared up in the theatre, was trying hard not to embarrass myself lol. But yeah, of course, understand it's your opinion :)
I see what you're getting at, but for me, I feel like Under The Sea captured more of the Broadway version, especially with the little break between the breakdown and the finale. I think with a song like Under the Sea since it's an upbeat get out of your-chair type song there's a little bit of an exception.
@@kpednault I can see what you mean. If anything I think they made the right choice by going more "broadway" then. It made it more dramatic, exciting and sold the story and emotion to me more.
I don’t get how people could hate on this. Honestly, I had the biggest grin watching this in iMax.
Because of the skin color which is just sad and pathetic. We should praise the performance not what her skin color is.
I saw it in imax too and it was awesome
One of my favorite songs ❤
Well, I get it! Pure racist evil! To hell with those 😈

This is so beautiful ❤ ❤ and I love how the add Ariel to the song too she has a incredible voice
I'm about to be 30 and this scene has me grinning. I've played this version so many times and it hasn't gotten old yet
This was hands down my favorite scene in the film. The visuals were gorgeous
I love this scene 😊..Disney did great with this movie ❤

You know its good when your only complaint is that they didn't have finding nemo characters
Nah i watched the movie today and it was AWESOME! I cant lie its amazing. She was awesome ❤ I had no problem with the cgi. Lovely movie

The singer was Lafayette and Jefferson in Hamilton.

Halle Bailey just dropped her debut solo song “Angel” 😇💕 PLEASE REACT !!
The only thing I don’t like it that the sea creatures aren’t play the instruments even though that is still part of the lyrics.
finding nemo characters can't come in cause that's pixar and the little mermaid is disney and those two companies don't get along

@@krayzielyrics I do agree with you for "part of your world", but to me it was more broadway than disney movie
Lmao terrible opinion
