Unforgettable Moment: Brownies' Magical Encounter with Disney's The Little Mermaid Cast

- The Female Lead and Girlguiding gave two brownies the chance to meet the cast of Disney's #thelittlemermaid. 7-year-old Naomi and 8-year-old Eleanor interview Halle Bailey and Jonah Hauer-King ❤️
Halle told the girls: “I think it’s so important for us to see strong girls and women in movies, because it’s an example of what we can be in the future. I remember Princess Tiana in my favourite movie, Princess and the Frog, and seeing how she was working so hard in the kitchen. Cooking for what she wanted, her dreams for her restaurant. It’s like, if you work and put in the time and be a kind person, you can really do anything you put your mind too. I think there’s a similar message in The Little Mermaid that Ariel has and I hope that you all can see that and be inspired to go after what you want.”
When asked about his favourite part of filming the movie, Jonah Hauer-King,
who plays Prince Eric said: “There was so many parts that I loved... But I’d say the standout best thing was probably meeting Halle and getting to work with her because she’s so special and such a brilliant actor and I learnt so much from her, professionally but also as a person."

Halle really was born to be a Disney princess. She is just so sweet and caring towards her young fans. Her answers and the advice she gives them is always so wonderful and thoughtful.

Cutest interview. Halle and Jonah are the perfect Ariel and Eric. Say what you want about the movie, but they were meant to be Ariel and Eric. I don’t think we could have a better Ariel and Eric for The Little Mermaid.
I feel like these cute little brownies were interviewing Prince Eric and Princess Ariel in real life! (They definitely behaved better than some of the REAL royals!). I know that actors like to challenge themselves by playing different characters, but I hope and pray that Jonah and Halle don’t do anything in their career and/or in real life to damage their reputation as “good and kind” people!!! I luv them so much!!! 🥰😍🥰

I'm so sick and tired of films produced by Disney that have absolutely no story whatsoever, and are made simply to indoctrinate children with LGBTQ content. This cast worked hard to tell a GOOD story that kids of any age can see. Movies like the Little Mermaid with Halle Bailey are the only movies I'll support from Disney!! Otherwise they ain't getting my support.
