    This video explained everything so well! Why do my teachers over complicate everything? They should just show us these videos in class, it would make studying way easier.

    Very well done and awesome job at hitting the variations of C1V1=C2V2 problems. I'm going to link this to my biotech class so my classmates have a great study video to use!

    Does this equation really hold for concentration variables other than molarity or mass-volume percent? I was doing some numbers and at least for mass-mass percent it seems that this relation along with the constraint of constant solute mass (or moles) implies that the density of the first solution equals the density of the second one, which could be a non-negligible source of error.

    Hey i have a doubt
    I have a 0.1% concentrated topical finasteride solution which is given in a 60ml container and i want to convert it to 0.005% concentrated solution. Can you provide how much distilled water i need add to the 0.1% ? Is it 1140ml water + 60ml of 0.1% ? , 95ml water + 5ml of 0.1% ? Can you please provide the answer?

    142. 9 ml is the amount for 70 ethanol ?

    • @StevenBradburn
      @StevenBradburn  5 лет назад +2

      142.9 mL is the final volume. So if you add 42.9 ml (142.9 - 100) of water to 100 mL of 100% ethanol, the final concentration will be 70% ethanol

    I have a concentrate that is 10.4g/L and have 200ml. I want to bring it down to 10.1g/L with another lower concentrate that is 10.1g/l. Do i use.
    10.4*200/10.1=205.94ml
    Do i add 205.94mls of the 10.1 concentrate to my 200ml of 10.4 to bring down to 10.1? Please help.
