@@ilanlaham6911 Yeah, the track in located on a State Park (Belle Isle Park) and enough people (Michigan residents) complained about not having access to the south end of the park for 2- 3 months (that's how long it would take to set up the race track)... So because of that pressure Indy waved the white flag (final race)...
And yes it's a shame... I'm unaware of a more entertaining street course than Belle Isle... Great racing with great strategy... There was 280 overtakes with no cautions in this years race... Belle Isle will be sorely missed!
NTT Indycar series, thanks for the view. Race start 🏁 34:50. Will Power drove like a man possess over both races, probably deserved better. Great result after the first race, then again i'm not surprised, from 5 time champ.
Here's the list that I want to see the street course in the future 1. LA 2. San Antonio 3. Dallas 4. Houston (Houston should be back as well) 5. Minnesota 6. Boston 7. NYC 8. Montreal 9. Utah
Indy, please do more Superspeedways races. In the past the car had less security was faster and raced in many Superspeedways. Now the cars are slower have screenshields and people think is dangerous? Why?????
it's not dangerous as much as people don't come to those races, so why keep doing those races? show interest for the ovals on the schedule and they might do more of them.
Just a tip but you really need to cut the pre-race back from 34 minutes to about 10 -15. It's not a football game and you're losing your at home audience from to much talking. You need a quick rundown and recap, not all these drawn out stories. You can continue your stories during yellows or between pit stops on long green flag runs. If I know your race won't start until 30 minutes into the broadcast I'm likely to channel surf and you might lose me as a viewer if I get into something else.
I’m going to miss Belle Isle after June 5, 2022 but thank you INDYCAR for posting full races from 2019 season.
Is it getting dropped after 2022?
@@ilanlaham6911 yes
@@ilanlaham6911 they’re doing the streets of Detroit instead of Belle Isle after 2022
