I thought I searched it and pretty simple terms, and couldn’t believe how long it took to find this.
And then it was uploaded from the GIA.
The amount of stuff I had to scroll through that had absolutely nothing to do with even setting a stone at all … what’s going on at RUclips somebody check on them
What a nice and detail tutorial, thank you!
Very detail, thank you !

EXCELLENT Video!! 💎💍. 🐞
Hi
Beautiful
I'm hoping to try this someday soon and this is the best tutorial I've seen. Put nice and simple, not like others I've seen which are essentially the jeweller showing off. Thanks.
Brilliant
Wow Excellent
Nice teacher

Gia. My favorite round brilliant cut. Table. Girdle, it is about the CUT that makes it sparkles. It doesn't have to be colorless.
I’d love to know what that tool is so I can tighten a prong on my diamond. Anyone know ?
I personally use a pair of "GWM Stone Setting Pliers", which you can finally easily on Google or wherever. But not sure what tool this person is using. :)
Thanks for that information.

You can help me with this
This has increased production and sales for my new Jewelry business “Jewels By Podcaster Tim Dillon”.
How much does it cost to have a stone set into a setting and where do I find one that knows what hes doing?
Price may wary depending on the stone and the setting, you should look op jewelers in your area and ask for an estimate.
@@mikkelkock905 the most useless response ever lmao
@@Jacob-ry3lu did you expect a fortuneteller to somehow know where you live and no the best jeweler in your area?
I have a simpler answer, pick up the phone and stop being a lazy asshole 😂
FUCKING AMAZING

I don’t have fancy microscopes or fancy tools but i can do good job as any GIA pros can do.. :))
Why is that all tutorials tell you to use a setting burr, however 99.9% of jewellers/stone setters don't use them
From my experience, using a setting bur yields the best result.
@@gembak yea i have never used it either wouldn't the setting bur ruin the edges of the setting or we just don't care because the diamond will hide it?
@@Saywhatohno If you mean the inside of the upper gallery, yeah, the diamond hides that. I never use setting burrs for prong setting though, only flush setting. I use hart burrs for prong setting
They could of just used a 45 degree bur and it would of saves time I always use 45’s when setting its s better seat it makes for the diamonds
Might you please link to a video or upload one where this is done without a burr?
I am looking, but 4 years after your comment, you are still right. They all say to use a burr.
So no glue huh

Hi
Jesus Loves you ♥️
1:47 110-120% free standing metal? What the heck is that supposed to mean? The use of percentages, here and later in the video have NO context….percent of what?
As jewelers, we have to be super precise in order to create excellent work . That’s why even after 35+ years in “the biz” I’m always reviewing tutorials, to continue to hone my techniques. While casually perusing jewelry tutorials I’ve found numerous videos from “major” industry dealers which have troublesome language/explanations. I notice this most often with the BIG catalogue suppliers
I understand that video is a relatively new media for jewelers, but in a world of almost obsessive precision in jewelry, maybe it’s time to work on more precision in your videos?
Platinum is not a good medium..
Casually sets with no anchor hand just freestylen that mf 😂😮💨😫💪🏼
Thank you!
