Greetings, all! Yes, the longplay of the original PS1 game was done in preparation and celebration of this amazing remake! It probably goes without saying, but this remake is far more superior than the original. Just about every problem the original had in its level design and controls were fixed here, and it manages to fully realize Pac-Man World as a superb 3D platformer. This was well worth the $30, and I'm even picking it up on the other platforms in the future! Hope you all enjoy the longplay as I did playing it!
@@vittosphonecollection57289 Publishers will put out games deemed as "budget games", meaning they were made on a smaller budget than most projects which allows them to sell the game at a lower cost. This game was also made in Unity, which is a simple engine to work on compared to others (i.e. Unreal) and is cheaper to develop on.

He was pretty hard in the ps1 but I was to beat him Finally!! The only thing was that rescuing pac jr in the first was very difficult and finding the key but finally I did it
this remake was amazing. Im glad it kept all the original music, map layouts, and bosses from the original. The only thing that feels awkward is the begining where everyone gets kidnapped. The dialouge isnt there. That was really left out

One of my favorite games on PS1. I'm so happy they made a Remake out of it, this game really deserved it. I hope that in the future they will also do remakes of: *Pacman World 2* (of the third chapter I don't feel the need), *Rayman 2/3,* and of the whole *Ape Escape trilogy* (I could go crazy if they announce a remake of Ape Escape Trilogy).
I got the Switch version first. I never played the first Pac-Man World. But after playing it on the Switch, I want to go for a copy on the PS5. I hope there will be a follow up with a remaster of Pac-Man World 2 in the future.
No... they left it EXACTLY the same! (At least some tracks, like Buccaneer's Beach and Space Race - and THANK GOODNESS, they were already perfect) But they improved on sound effects. The Metal Dot Butt Bounce is no longer an ear-splitting noise.
My copy comes in the mail tomorrow! I can't wait! EDIT: My copy FINALLY ARRIVED! I've been having a blast with this game! Totally worth the $30! The PAC is back!

Iwatani should try doing a "Pac-Man Party; Re-Pac", with the designs from "Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures". Plus, bring back the old characters (such as Roger, Patra, & Woofa), and add new ones (such as Cylindria, Spiral, Skeebo, Sir C, President Spheros, Lord Betrayus, etc.)
they probably wont use the GA designs since well…,,,,you know alot of people hate those and they probably wont play the game which will lead to poor sales…….i also think they will not use those designs again since the reboot just kinda failed and they dont want to use them again idk-
They made the game a lot easier, only the mazes hot harder, since now we can only die 3 times. Pac-man is super fast when compared to the original, this makes things easier too. They could have implemented a setting to choose between old and new mechanics.
What my honest opinion about this game is this should improve the graphics. And Just make the cutsences like the same as the PSX Version, But this is different though. also, They could just have Pac World 1, 2, and 3. But right now, I'm Impressed of how the game was made for The PS5, Xbox Series X, and Switch.
i had no trouble getting everything in levels 1-1 and 1-2, and i began to think the rest of the game was going to be just as easy, but then i had my first death in 1-3. after i finished the world, not having everything but fortunately having rescued pooka (that is what the red circular dig dug enemy is called), i stopped playing the game for now, especially since i didn't grow up playing the original

Some publishers will forego proper voice acting (in this case, meaning spoken dialogue) to save money on localization. So, they'll have characters speak gibberish. It gives their translators more time to focus on bigger assignments and allows for them to put out budget games like this out the door.
MasterOfRemakes group's foreign language voice acting is first voice acting to Pac-Man World Re-Pac, albeit being unofficial and downloaded as video. MasterOfRemakes Language Dubbing is developing English voice acting, of which the release as video is unknown.
While there were some elements of the original game that I did enjoy by no means is this a bad remake as the graphics are way better than the original one. Still I wish we were dealing with Ms. Pac-Man and Baby PAC, Chomp-chomp and PAC Jr instead of their replacements names in this game.
Looks spectacular, doesn't it? Unity is a super flexible engine. Several developers have made some gorgeous games with it, but in the end, it's all about having a consistent art style.

There are things that have improved, but there are others that have not, there are even things that I didn't like, such as the fact that the characters babble instead of speaking clearly, which makes the cinematics awful, anyway. That's my opinion, and if it's a matter of preference, I'll stick with the PS1 original a thousand times, that one left its mark on my childhood.
@@CarbyGuuGuu is right. The change wasn't exactly done because Bandai Namco wanted to - they were practically forced to. I'm not a fan of the redesign either, but Bandai Namco is kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place. If they reach an agreement with GCC, I'm sure they'll put out a patch that swaps characters back in. At least they kept the dog, Professor, and Pooka. And Jr. Pac-Man (now "Pac-Boy") still looks like his original design.

It would be cool if they made an arcade game off this character. I think it would have lots of potential.
I actually do think this could have been a good pay-to-play mobile or arcade game that jacksepticeye or someone like him could play.

Pacman Characters Voice Gets Weird...
It loses the charm, all those squares moving on the PS1 give it life.

They had to change it for legal reasons, until Namco and GCC have reached an agreement Ms. PAC-MAN can’t come back.
