Trip-hop will be a little faster, more energetic and the work on the sample will be more at the center of the production, where the lofi focuses a little more on the atmosphere. Whatever happens these two styles are close, it is sometimes difficult to categorize them

Thats why I love abstract/surreal stuff (usually stuff in the middle), be it games, art, music, it's so damn good, I've been looking for music similar to Siesta by Dismissedfit, and this genre is best, abstractness is such a broad term, it can be scary, nostalgic, and alot more
You can find so much under the term "abstract", it's such a human concept We usually gather elements that appear to be random and place them under a context that invokes mixed feelings Take a look at the thumbnail/picture in the video, you see random characters in a place without any context, and that's the only context we're given Abstractness is my favorite human concept, because we can make horror out of it (lovecraftian horror is an example even though it crosses more the line of surrealism and science fiction, the concept is the same, something the human mind cannot assimilate), we can invoke feelings of nostalgia, comfort, not the ordinary stuff like happiness or sadness, it's beyond that, it makes us feel very specific stuff that could only exist in a social context already expanded upon by many different cultural aspects, which we incorporate in the abstract

Wow this is one of the best album i ever listened the way they introduced some french spiches and the voice is perfect with all the combination of all instruments, I feel this album is a complex mix of a lil of hip hop and house and other style. I'm not sure i can explain but all the songs are wonderful.Some are energics and others are dreamy or even old school.
I'm looking at the comments, and a lot of them say there used for study, work, sleep and relief. I iv been free styling to these.. This would be an amazing album, if it where to be made into one.
