The reason why Omni Man didn’t tell Mark about his true intentions was because his original plan was to wait until after Mark and Debbie died to conquer Earth because deep down, he really did care for them. Once Mark gained his powers, Nolan realized he was no longer gonna outlive his son and had to tell him the truth

Nolan’s words were definitely worse. But they were nothing compared to Mark’s response: “You dad. I’d still have you.”
Mark’s answer to Nolan’s 500 year question made my heart cry
Watching Nolan try to convince himself as much as Mark is kinda heartbreaking.
Keep in mind that Nolan is AT LEAST 100s of years old....if not thousands of years old. He grew up in a world where they kill the weak and conqueror and in only 20 years time he changed to the point where he started to care of people. That's actually progress. Also consider his time frame, it's hard for us to understand him because at BEST we live to be around 100 years old and even then we grow frail and weak.
His race is basically immortal and maintains peak physical shape for basically that entire time, for him it really is like us with pets.
I would say thousands,
Nolan looks about 50 by our standards, he said everyone Mark knows would be dead before he looks 30, which means by that time Mark would be ~117 (approximately 100 years for everyone to be dead) meaning he will have aged 13 years in approximately 100 years. since the rate goes slower the older they get I would assume Nolan is at minimum 500 years old if the rate stops at 30. Most likely it keeps going slower though. If they age a tenth the speed every 10 years then at 40 he would be ~1100 at 40 and ~11100 at 50. So I would wager a guess he is between 500 and 10000.
Also since Nolan also spent time in the Flaxans dimension we can assume he spent quite a few years there since minutes for us is years for them. Since Nolan was likely gone a few hours we can likely add a few hundred to his age, and he did not seem to visibly change other than a beard he grew.
From what I've gathered from the Invincible handbook, which is a canon source material written by the creators that goes in depth for the main races of Invincible, it seems Viltrumites can actually live for hundreds of thousands of years. One of the Viltrumites, Thaedus, is an older viltrumite who was around since the beginning of the expansion of their empire. The purge of the weak is said in the handbook to have happened over 100,000 years ago, and Thaedus was around when that happened. So I think Nolan was almost underselling just how long Mark will live.
Actually I believe it's like over 1200 years old. Which is why he said "my time here is but a speck in my life. You Don't know me".

i've never understood the amber hate...once mark's friend knew his identity, there was no reason to keep amber in the dark...mark accepted amber back in his life bc he knew she didn't do anything wrong that entire time. if anything, she put up with his bs longer than a lot of ppl would, imo
She apparently knew before william did. Difference is William didn’t act like he didn’t figure it out and immediately talked to Mark about it. Amber still gave Mark 💩 for being late or disappearing even when she knew. She was putting herself above all the people Mark was out trying to help.

Like wtf if she’s so into doing humanitarian work why would she not be elated by the fact that Mark actually saves people as a job and decides to have a talk about it since she’s smart enough to figure out he’s a hero. I don’t get all the hate that people have for her but her character is just inconsistent for me. I honestly can’t wait for them to break up once and for all cause it’s inevitable and if they won’t than the writers for this show are actually fucking dumb as bricks.
