Inspirational Ideals daisy brown is a RUclipsr who's channel posts videos about daisy taking care of a creature named alan. This video is trying to figure out the deeper meaning of that channel. The captions of the videos are different from what is actually being said. The captions are conversations between daisy and her dad, and they tell the story of her dad abusing her. This video uses the captions as well as daisy browns tweets to figure out what is actually going on in the videos.

I actually had a similar thing to “The Question Box” in 3rd grade, where my teacher was open to people asking questions (which were pieces of paper left in a box) and would answer them in front of the class with keeping the asker’s name a secret. It actually really helped me understand the world around me and I wasn’t afraid to ask questions about stuff like I used to, anymore.
As long as you’re not harsh about it, I really like Questions Boxes
Oh god, we had that during s*x education. I think you can imagine how bad some of the questions were.
Old question, but the difference is that Daisy's dad doesn't want to make it easier to ask questions. He wants her to stop asking him anything at all. It puts her on the spot and asks her to account for why she would ask. Suggestion boxes only work when they're anonymised.

The house is a garden. There was a supposed to be a Rose and a Daisy in it but the Rose died. Curtis neglected his "garden" (i.e. his home and daughter) allowing Alan (a weed) to "take root" (see how he's growing roots?) in the space left by Rose. It's a metaphor for not neglecting your home life and family. Also probably how man's (Curtis') attempts to control life and nature with science have a tendency to backfire horribly.
Also I think the book Daisy found was by an author noted for writing in a genre called "magical realism" where magical or paranormal things just happen and are taken for granted. Kind of like a living evil sentient plant monster who can telepathically project his thoughts into RUclips subtitles.

I like this series. Even though it’s obviously fake, it’s cool how much thought she put into the plot of the story, the simplicity of it, yet the deep meaning, and the attention to detail. Everything has a deeper meaning, and everything adds up. Unlike other channels where they pretend there’s a mystery, but give you all these useless clues. She came up with an interesting plot, and was very creative. Props to this girl.
