I wish OnePlus would make a small phone. I love them, my last two phones have been OnePlus's, but they're just getting too big for my tiny mits. I reckon a 6" mid-range Oneplus would go gangbusters.

And actually small stuff like the Unihertz Jelly series are super niche and have next to no market share ...
@Jerome This is false and lies fabricated by influencers, hordes of people baught zenphones, people who others would of naught other things exclusively naught zenphones devices, the phone did sell, it just didn't sell significantly because Asus is never going to appeal to the general public with two years of updates and because the market is saturated. Small phones did not inherintley "Not selling" and that's simply not true. Proof of this is that while 30+k people still baught zenphones no one is going to buy the zenphones ultra the small phone was a niche that had its own consistent user base that DID buy them.
the lg g5 was such a good phone. The replacable battery made mine go for 5+ years and I bought it 2 years already used but good condition. Even passed it down to siblings when I got a new one. It had a such good music chip.
i love full metal design so much, but most of the manufacturer decide to go with glass these day. hope this one will be sold in vietnam in the near future
Just upgraded from a Nord 3 to the Nord 4, what a difference, especially in battery capacity. I'm quite a heavy user, sometimes I had to charge the Nord 3 2-3 times a day. Honestly the most appalling battery performance I've ever had in a phone, so much that I had serious issues going with another OnePlus now. But so far with the Nord 4, only dropping maybe 10% in 3 hours of heavy use. They really have improved heaps for us heavy users, thumbs up OnePlus 👍👍
I ordered one too cus I broke my s21 ultra and wanted a new flagship. But nah, found this on a deal and decided to wait another 2 years for s25 ultra or s26 or iphone 17 or 18 maybe with a new design 😮
@@jiffonbuffo cold on metal phones is subjective, anything lower than body temperature will feel cold but will comfortably be within battery operating limits. I don't think the OP is meaning subzero temps.

@@phosphorusdream The A55 is no slouch either although is doesn't match the performance of the N4. If you don't play heavy games you hardly will notice anything. I think the A55 is the better allround phone and I like the looks way better. With a €100 price difference it's worth considering. (Although I doubt I will ever buy OneUI driven smartphone)

I'd kind of looked past OnePlus because of their limited software updates (still using a 7t) this one could be the long overdue replacement, i also notice you can get the charger for free if you order the phone from the OnePlus online store. Although it seems a bit odd that the only place you seem to be able buy OnePlus mobiles these days is direct from them whsts the deal with that?
It's about cutting out the middle man and maximising their profit, it's another profit stream, on top of their several other streams eg bloatware adds, and payments by those that wants your data, selling proprietary cables to upsell and overcharge, forcing wireless devices then selling their own for more money. It's all greed over the consume that's all it is.
And I just bought OnePlus 9 pro morning mist 8/128gb brand new UK Version, for....... £169 And I love it. Also runs on Android 14 and Oxygen OS 14 after an update (that will be it however) I couldn't believe the price (sold directly by Amazon)

Like everything, except Vegemite (Y I know that's Australian) some things don't translate+ the "anything Huawei" ban. My Question on this phone is both price & spec wise, won't it be similar to the very similar 12R? & DYK if it'll be sold Stateside? I needed a new cell & just picked up a 12R during Amazon Prime days. Just arrived. Already have an iPhone 14 Ultra Max (too new & good to trade in & great cameras/software but tiny/horrible battery life, & it weighs a ton) + a 2023+ RAZR basic Flip. Underwhelming overall but cheaper than the brand new $1100-$1800 US Samsung 5-6 Fold. Watched your pre-12R & GI Purple Special edition unboxing vids. Didn't see listed a plain 12R review. I like the form factor & size of the new Nord 4, however if it costs as much as a 12R or even 12 if on sale, it's not an option. Yes a lot of the not for the US cell's are available new through various channels but have ZERO return or warranty availability. Thanks for & Keep up the great reviews & vids! Personally IDGAS about absolute camera quality as long as the cell has even a 4 mp decent camera. Editing & Dig Zoom software can always be downloaded. Ta.

Not having the extremely fast charger is very disappointing. You'll probably buy it anyway considering their supervooc is the only way to fast charge on these.

Yes. Though do remember that it depends on region. For example, you won't find the 8 + 256GB in my country, and another country has it but not the 12 + 512GB version.

The camera isn't so good on my Nord, as the 5t, but beggars can't be choosers. I use OnePlus Nord ce 3 before 1 year ! very nice phone , but I want to upgrade to Nord 4
Looks like the cost cutting on the camera dept. too. 📷 Hasnt really improved much from nord 2 5g beside 4K/60 feature.
4 years upgrade android os and 6 years upgrade to security patch is a big deal to get to my second smartphone with my iphone 15 plus 😊

It throttles at 15 min. It doesn't really "require higher specs" as much as it's simply optimized well. It's a bit of both.

Already have an iPhone 14 Ultra Max (too new & good to trade in & great cameras/software but tiny/horrible battery life, & it weighs a ton) + a 2023+ RAZR basic Flip. Underwhelming overall but cheaper than the brand new $1100-$1800 US Samsung 5-6 Fold. Watched your pre-12R & GI Purple Special edition unboxing vids. Didn't see listed a plain 12R review.
I like the form factor & size of the new Nord 4, however if it costs as much as a 12R or even 12 if on sale, it's not an option. Yes a lot of the not for the US cell's are available new through various channels but have ZERO return or warranty availability. Thanks for & Keep up the great reviews & vids!
Personally IDGAS about absolute camera quality as long as the cell has even a 4 mp decent camera. Editing & Dig Zoom software can always be downloaded.

Not having the extremely fast charger is very disappointing. You'll probably buy it anyway considering their supervooc is the only way to fast charge on these.
I have OnePlus 8t nearly 4 years now I hoping to get a new one next year is this nord 4 really good compared 8t ? . or wait for next year rounds I don't want iPhone or Samsung but also can't afford expensive phones no more and this price rage is good
If your phone is still working, then I would wait for the next round of OnePlus. OnePlus 13 will have a massive 6500mah battery.

Yes. Though do remember that it depends on region. For example, you won't find the 8 + 256GB in my country, and another country has it but not the 12 + 512GB version.
