@@MrTuchi07 I started serious preparation 4 days before the PMP exam. Of course, I had taken the 35 hours of Project Management training earlier and so had foundational knowledge.
@@maddiegrudzinski593 I didn't read the full guide; I realized I didn't have to. For the class, I did a course from Udemy (by Sabri C.) that was 38 hours long and met the 35 hours requirement. Thanks.
This was Golden!!! I started my study with a blank stare and now, I’m confident that I have a method to burn these I to my head. Thanks a lot for doing this.
This one video proved to be the pivotal point for my PMP preparation. Earlier when I had tried to study for the PMP I got stuck here, memorizing the process groups and the knowledge areas and left it after a while. But this time I was lucky to have found this video and it lighted the spark. In a matter of days I was well versed with the process groups, the knowledge areas and their respective processess. Moreover it built my confidence and kept me motivated till the end. Thanks a tonne for sharing this. Cleared my PMP a few days back.
I was totally struggling to get to grips with learning all these and your video popped up ..i cant thank you enough for this easy way of memorising the processes .. i passed pmp two days ago with AT in all three areas.. all thanks to you
Hi - THIS WAS GREAT I used these videos while studying - and USED THESE TIPS - just passed my PMP today - I was able to draft out the full processes on the notes sheet - it helped with the situational test questions - and trust, it wasn't easy! Thank you - JT
Thank you for sharing your method. I was able to replicate this on a scratch sheet of paper when I took my CAPM exam in person this week and it saved me. Passed my exam!
Your naming convention for the acronyms is ludicrous. I Plan Every Major Circus! Ice Skating Superheroes Conquer Quantum Realms, Controlling Remarkable Powers Safely!
This was absolutely AMAZING. Thank you so much with helping me with my "Brain Dump". Having this as a reference point while sitting in for the PMP exam will surely be a benefit, and a quick reference point, during a long exam.
Hi, I am PMP certified, its amazing but I think more than memorizing this.... it's concept that we need to understand and imagine there application in large scale project which actually help to get certify
Exactly. It’s easier to understand 1) You must initiate the beginning phases of the project. Gathering everything that you will need. Define the project objective. 2) You must then plan how you will accomplish the projective objective. What’s the work breakdown structure? Action Plan? 3) You must then execute those plans to accomplish the project objective. 4) You must put in place measures to monitor the plan being executed and/or possibly control aspects of the plan being executed so it remains on target with the project objective. 5) Finally, the project by definition must come to an end. Therefore once the project objective is completed, the project must be closed, archived, reported, handed off etc. It’s much more important to understand the above process then to memorize some erroneous acronym.
Well explained. Mind got triggered by use of 'control' & 'monitor'. There's thing you can control and there is things you can not control, then you monitor them.
I found the video very helpful for memorizing 49 Process groups. However I think planning processes should be reworked for better memorizing. You could also show some techniques for memorizing the processes in Knowledge Area level. I think it would also helpful.
Hello .. do we really need to memorise these 49 process groups for the PMP 2022? As I believe from the success stories in most of the forums .. they say it’s all about situational questions and an understating of the process is fine .. please clarify
I was thinking the same thing :) ... certain things I feel might as well just focus on memorizing the thing itself, while other thins, these can helpful like the 766 436 3734 ...
Suggestion - Planing could be done in parts. First write Plan^9, then complete Executing, Monitoring and Controlling. Return to Planning to fill balance activities depending on the phone number for left over activities so number of activities in each KA can be properly filled
Sorting the knowledge area letters alphabetically its CIPQRS, [PQRS] are all inline so just remember CI as the start. Then remember 211 for the first three letters and 123 for the second 1c, 1i, 1p, iq, 2r, 2s its dumb but it helped me
If one is based in the US/Can then the 766-436-3734 will be easy to remember as that's how the phone numbers are memorized. This pattern does not apply to other regions.
Hi @Helena-LIU. I've memorized the 49 processes groups already. My question is can we write down the process chart in a paper once the proctor provide us pen and paper? Is it allowed? Thanks.
really helpful chart and process. I wasn't a big fan of your acronyms. I found it very easy to memorize PGs and KAs without them, the processes themselves are a bit more difficult, I really thought those specific acronyms(?) were useful. Im currently studying the PMBOk and will include this video as well as the vargas video in my regular routine.
3:13 I laughed so hard, waking every single member of my family up. Then I had to explain it to all of them, which took 15 minutes for them to understand and go back to sleep
This is great for memorizing, although I'd like to point out errors in the planning group. There are 10 processes beginning with "plan", and the letter sequence is missing an E. The corrected version should therefore be: Plan^10 + DCDCD-SEDEDE-IPP

From @10.16 The acronym shown under Planning group is missing an E at the end of the 'SEDED'. It should be 'SEDEDE'.

if 766-436373-4 this will be easy..becoz easy to remember 43 63 73
instead you can memorize with the same pattern that she is explaining (766) 4 36 37 34
