Sharon, That’s great - we love McDonald and Hobbs, think there’s a new series coming (but don’t quote me on that). Bath is a lovely place to visit, and We’ve just got back from Wells, which is also a magnificent city nearby. The video for that will be coming shortly, but we’re currently in Bayeux, so I’m building a bit of a backlog. Dear Gary and Janis, Marvellous, I visited here in the late 70s, its amazing to see the changes that have been made by technology, none of the films, cooking or otherwise were installed, I love Bath I have a cousin that lives in Bradford on Avon, known locally as Bradford, if you haven't been there yet, do go, its gorgeous, there is a tiny chapel in the cliff and wonderful Georgian wool workers cottages, in Bath stone also set in the cliffs, with the back of them the actual cliff face !! Do not forget the tithe barn its gargantuan, well done
Hi Linda, We know Bradford on Avon; we started a canal boat adventure from there in 2009 and headed towards Bath. Great fun, wish we'd captured that on video! We drove through it on the way home from Bath on the way to Lacock (could that be a spoiler for a future video? ) We loved our time in this part of the world and would love to discover more of the west - hopefully sometime soon.🤞 Thanks so much, stay safe, stay well, stay cool 😍 Gary & Janis

Dear Gary and Janis, I am afraid I had the holiday from hell, the Aurora was not as good as it was, the food, entertainment was a disappointment, the hot food was tepid and the ice cream was always melted in the main dining room, chicken was tough, tasteless, the first 11 days of entertainment, except for the classical musicians was awful, lots of nice touches had disappeared. On 10 August on a ship tour in Grundafjordjar, I tripped on an embedded stone, fell broke the ulna and radius bones and tore a ligament in my right arm, smashed the right side of my face, I was operated on in the ships hospital, twice , and kept in overnight due to a haematoma on my right eyebrow, I now await an appointment at the fracture clinic at the Chelsea and Westminster, its in a half plaster, which I cannot wait to get off, all in all a disaster, only 5 days into my holiday, completely ruined, hope you are both well
Oh Linda that is awful; we're so sorry that your holiday, that you had looked forward to so much, turned out so poorly. The unsatisfactory experience is one thing, but the fall, well, that is another. We hope you make a speedy recovery. Let's hope that plaster is off soon.
