The Mazinger character on the shirt, I have him as one of the jumbo machinder figures. Imported by Mattel they were called Shogun Samurai warriors here. Big blow molded plastic robot toys with spring loaded rockets. I got mine with a lot of missing parts and between my 3D printer and my vinyl cutter I refurbished it enough to make a nice display out of it.

Awesome video as always Mort. I would love to go to a swap meet like this, seems like such an amazing time. This is what I like about stuff such as swap meets, yard sales, etc. You truly never know what you will come across. Just based on Chris, it goes to show how much good stuff you can find. I will keep an eye out for "The Fall" never heard of it, but seems interesting from the clips you showed. Those book covers are incredible - The Link one def catches my eye, Ocarina of Time was such a big part of my N64 gaming memories. Very true, the Master System I picked up a year ago - has had some issues and a friend has been working on getting it up and going, but even then I've come across games for it and jumped at the chance to pick them up. Worse comes to worse and the system is a bust, I might have to buckle down and pick up the Power Base (I think thats what it's called) for the Genesis to play them. Great time and looking forward to seeing the update on the funds for the manual. I know you will get there it just a question of time. Keep up all the incredible work and see you on the next one Mort. #Roadto30k

A massive advantage of the 7800 is that it is backwards compatible with the 2600 and the primary joystick is better. The joystick for the 2600 is a pain to use, especially for a lefty. The 7800's controller has a "loose" stick and action buttons on both sides of the controller. It also works on a 2600, which is pretty cool, IMO.
The only reason I don't have one, is because I have a perfectly functional 2600 Jr and I have no currently interest in 7800 exclusive games. The 2600 Jr is suuuuuper light and portable. At some point, I want to try to do the mod that allows you to use composite cables as opposed to just RF cables.

A bunch of your game boxes are reproductions, is that a concern of yours or does it not matter?
Great question! It definitely matters that everything I have is authentic. But there are 2 reasons I am not concerned:
- I’ve been collecting these since the 90’s. Many of the boxes are from my original collection
- High profile stuff I’ve bought has been from trusted sources. It’s also why I do t mind them not all being in perfect condition
Last, while it is definitely possible to have a fake or 2 in there, they are pretty easy to spot based on their look and feel. I’ve seen hundreds (if not more) of these, so it really doesn’t concern me all that much. Have you been duped before?
