LumiTool F20 Engraving Speed

Disclosure The F20 shown was temporarily loaned by Lumitool for the purposes of testing.
At this point in time LumiTool is spreading tons of ads, along with some influencer vids, showing just how fast their F20 fiber laser is. Most of those are sped up, or, are showing outlines of vectors. So, what does an vector fill look like in real time? Here ya go.

Glad I didnt buy one of these like i was considering. The fact that this review/demo video was kinda hidden tells me all I need to know about the product.

Glad to help! Fiber lasers are fast, don't get me wrong. But yes, some marketing people skirt the line between true honestly and a magician's honesty.

Can you elaborate more on the unit? Is it a true fiber laser? I'm ok with a slower rate if it can actually do what it advertises with engraving depth.

It's a true fiber laser, not a galvo IR laser like products from Mr Carve, Atomstack, ComMarker, LaserPecker, xTool, etc.
The unit is being packed up and sent to the next tester, and my feedback was sent to LumiTool. They asking me not to share any negative findings due to it being a prototype machine and they're still fixing stuff, but please show anything positive (eye roll)..

@@JoeNigro definitely not. There are plenty of other 20W fiber lasers in the same price range (+/-$300)to choose from which are not reliant on substandard proprietary software
