These cameras are the worst. I’ve had mine for three years and they always miss actual people but always show when a bug flies by 🙄

Do you have the Blink 3 or Blink 4 camera? I have the Blink 4 and love it. If you have the Blink 4 use the person detection mode. Person detection works great and eliminates 80-90% of false alarms like bugs, tree movement small animals ect. Night detection detects well but the video quality is still lacking. Where and how you place the cameras is important also.

After a major power cut my Blink Doorbell have stopped sending video to my system (phone/Echo).
When trying to repair it - I deleted the doorbell from the system, reset it and connected it back to the main, closest and least used Wi-Fi network - supplied by provider's router.
I have also reset the Sync Module 2 and connected it to teh same Wi Fi network.
Now, in Device Settings, General Settings - Connection to Wi-Fi is at 1 bar (yellow), and I expect for that to be the reason.
At the same time the Connection to Sync Module shows most bars - healthy green.
All the other Wi-Fi devices in my house, are connected to other routers on my mesh network.
I expect reconnecting my Blink Doorbell to a different wi-fi network may help, but in Device Settings, General Settings - there is no option to click Change Network.
    Please help

I recommend letting the cameras take a photo each hour - it doesn't use much energy at all - but more importantly, you will potentially detect if you have a problem with the view on a camera much earlier. The view of each camera in your app updates to this photo, so if you see a photo is black or messed up, you can address it.
