I had been a supporter of wyze since their first Cam. Also responsible for all my family n friends doing the same. We followed supported by pre ordering everything they put out up to the gun cabinet. I'm on disability n due to severe health issues I had to stop ordering but kept the cam plus on all my cams. When I was put on hospice I didn't renew cam plus cus ATM the 12 sec cloud would b enough for what I needed and I needed that money for things. I stopped getting response from Alexa but notification were ongoing with a pic_every sec to min apart with nothing in them. I called to ask why I didn't have the 12 sec cloud vid and I was told I had to sign back up for plus. No the cloud vid was already on them without cam plus. I was then told they took that off at some point.... We were told when we got can plus that would stay there. Lied,now I'm laying here on hospice with 14 Cam I can do nothing with along with tons of other things.....

If it stays on for only 3 seconds how are you to do a factory reset?

Blinks are just trash... Tried many versions of it. Its a waste of money, unless you wanna put one right next to your modem and watch from your phone to see how your modem is doing time by time... Non sense garbage.

Unfortunately your explanation of what the Sync Module does, is incorrect. It does not provide a single network connection to your cameras. Each camera is connected by WiFi to the router - not the Sync Module, so more cameras does mean more IP addresses are used. This architecture is used by all Blink cameras, but those with wired power (Mini, Mini2, wired Floodlight and even the Doorbell if wired to a chime) can be used without a Sync Module and yet still be used with the Blink App via the Blink cloud servers. No, the real reason the Sync Module is needed for battery powered cameras is that by using a low power 866MHz radio signal (the Sync Signal) it is possible to control the WiFi cameras when they are sleeping to save battery life, and are therefore unreachable over the WiFi network. This is one reason why Blink cameras can have an exceptionally long battery life up to 2 years.

I just moved into a new home with new router and new passwords. I got three security cams and the doorbell. Not a single one of them connect to my WiFi 😤😤 I put the router right below two cams and still nothing. Factory Reset the devices and nothing. Reset my own router and of course, nothing. I spent so much for absolutely nothing 🥲🥲🥲🥲

I highly recommend just never getting a Vizio if anyone is watching this by chance before getting one. Worst tvs I've ever had. The older ones were fine but they are essentially just add boxes now and collect a shit load of your data. Not worth it

My camera was set up on wifi then moved to another location that doesn't have wifi. I want to check the recording from my phone when standing near it without having to remove the sd card. Is that possible?

I followed all your directions, but when it came to the QR code the screen showed the code but it was greyed out so the camera couldn't scan it! What do I do?

Mine stops working after 4:30/5 am and won't start again until I go into it to review footage. Which to say, if I enter the app at 11 am, it starts recording again at that point, i.e., any movement between 5 and 11 wasn't captured. Now I see why Best Buy was selling them so cheap. Looks more and more like I'll be trashing this and doing my homework better next time.

Says password is incorrect to my wifi network so it won't connect but i know the password is correct. For this reason DO NOT purchase blink

Legend, I press the factory reset button from the google chromecast not from the system and it worked. I would advise anyone trying this method to just use a different language and a different account

I don't use Alexa. So I don't have an Alexa dot or echo. But I've several people tell me to get these. After an incident that took place the other night and seeing we just moved into our house. We hadn't gotten around to cameras. Well. I wish we had. So now I'm trying to find something affordable, that we can save footage without an expensive subscription (times are rough. But this is necessary after what I learned. We NEED those cameras. Especially when swat is making everyone stay in their home. Bc of what was heard in my yard and the neighbors. And the neighbors older. So they don't have cameras. But they were scared and screaming.... and I absolutely heard someone hop their chain link fence then run right under my bedroom window so I hit the lights. Bc I didn't know if they'd try to get into my shed but my husband is a retired marine, and a detective! But before he pulls any weapons in self defense- I WANT THE TAPE!!! So I'm trying to figure out if these will do. I saw a review of someone who mounted inside the glass. They said that the motion sensor doesn't work. And they can't see at night. But I feel like that would be bc of the glass. Bc I would assume these should be mounted outside. I just want to be able to save any footage we may need. Without breaking the bank.

How to fix it? Maybe just fucking don't buy them. We have one plugged into a TV that's 12 feet away form a router and it still has trouble staying connected. They're garbage pieces of chinese plastic with a cheaper PCB board with an infrared receiver inside glued together. Literally designed to fail so you have to keep purchasing them. The only solution Roku as a company seems to have found is how to convince my Grandparents and my neighbors that somehow buying a TV from China branded with the ROKU name will somehow solve the problem as opposed to just cost more and take up more space and be harder to throw away someday during the future plastic wars.
