Im seeing a lot of comments saying that his opinion is biased. I say THANK YOU BLACK MAN FOR SHOWING OTHER BLACK MEN WHERE WE ARE APPRECIATED! We dont get a lot of support, insight, or representation. So I say thank you for the insight. Keep striving and doing your best Black Man! I love you!

Absolutely!
Agreed
you must become the representation you want to see in order to create change. much love ♥️
I love love, love Thailand. I stayed one week in Bangkok and one weekend in Phuket. They love Black people and they’re so friendly. I felt safe and I had a ball there.
"Brazil is literally the largest African nation outside of Africa."
I am so happy, that germany is on your list ❤️. We love everyone, who wants to enjoy our country an culture.
Greetings from germany❤
Bullshit.
@@Saymree Google Ghana girls attacked by 20 ppl. Germany is Getting more Racist and Far right wing by the day.
I visited Germany , I’m not black white not Caucasian, unfortunately Germany is the worst country for tourism, no uber no left just taxis, taxis owned by Turkish and kaldian stealers, they keep driving you around like crazy to get paid more, they even lie about the destination and drop you off to get paid more, the hotels prices are insane , no control a 100 dollar night rate for a hotel can jump tomorrow to 560 or more, insane before you live you will see for sure mice’s jumping at the airport ( Frankfort is full of mice’s ) Germany the worst country I ever visited in my life
That's so good to read that but is the German Euro isn't that expensive 🙌🥰
Ich liebe das Deutschland ❤❤❤
As a black guy I have been to many countries across the globe. I live in the EU so Im pretty familiar with European nations. Germany is ok. France is ok but the place I loved the most in France was the French rivieran coastline, not Paris. Spain is beautiful but their strict level against blacks is a little more. Italy is worse. Portugal was super friendly. UK was excellent except that it gets boring after 3 years of living there. Love to visit the UK for party holidays though. Canada was too cold and depressing for me especially durung the winters. Toronto to be specific.
Didnt spend much time in Asian countries because I felt pretty much like a stranger there. However the best countries that were welcoming to a certain extent were Thailand and Japan.
As for Africa, the countries I enjoyed to a certain extent were Angola, Namibia, and Kenya. Cape Town in South Africa was also great.
The US was ok. Kinda expensive though.
Now last but not the least. The location I enjoyed the most and felt really at home was the Caribbean and latin America. The 6 countries I felt the most happy and homely were the Dominican Republic, Trinidad, Costa Rica, Colombia, Brazil and my all time favorite, Panama. So of all the countries i ever visited, the country I felt in love the most was Panama. For me it was a dream country and a wonderful experience especially meeting and interacting with Afro Panamanians. So for me it remains the best country I have ever settled for a while as a black person. Hopefully, fingers crossed, I hope to retire there someday if all goes well.
Thanks for sharing your experiences. What was your experience seeing single women over 40 in the places you've traveled? I see a lot of families moving to various countries and younger singles, but not many videos for single african american women. (Not really asking about the dating scene, just life in general).
@@essenceofsoul27In terms of dating, for an African American woman over 40, Europe might not be an ideal location. The only two countries in Europe would be The UK and France. You definitely do not want to go to a country where blacks are treated really bad like in Italy for instance. I won't recommend Italy because I lived there. For me as a black guy I have dated a few times but I've often been very cautious in that area. I'd say the countries with the easiest women to get are Colombia, Brazil and The DR. Their women are extremely gorgeous but there is a problem. Easy women come with a lot of risks. The place I was able to find the perfect women in terms of character as well as beauty was in Africa. My girlfriend is half Ethiopian and half Eritrean. The advantage of most African women is that they're very family oriented and serious minded when it comes to relationships and dating.
Now for an African American over 40 I believe Africa might be the right place in terms of the multiple options. I heard that Nigerian men are great lovers and can spoil their women really bad. Referring to established Nigerian men with good professions and businesses. But Nigeria may not be an ideal location as it isn't as properly developed as you may expect. For me personally I think the best place for you would be either, Angola, Namibia, Tanzania or Uganda. South Africa too. From what I do remember is that the over 40s and 50s black women in these countries were thriving in their relationships.
@@RobertsDigital lol thank you! I was just asking from a solo traveler perspective, not with dating in mind. If it happens, so be it, but it's not my reason for travel or at the top of the list when I'm thinking of where to settle down.
@@essenceofsoul27 No probs. Apart from Afro Panamanians there's a growing population of black communities in Panama just in case you plan on retirement. I love the lush tropical vegetation and the quiet beaches.

7.Thailand
6.Germany
5.United Kingdom
4.France
3.Brazil
2.Columbia
1.Costa Rica
I call bs on this entire list, as every one of those counties have anti-immigrant issues (Brexit, anyone)
999999999. America
Colombia*
We were in Columbia this summer. It was amazing!!!
Thank you 🫡
I am glad that YOU felt welcomed and enjoyed those countries. However, there are some very racist places on your list. Also, there are several countries that would welcome Black men, but do not appreciate Black Women in their countries 😢✊🏽
The list is for black men
No, the title say African Americans. Nothing about only African American men.
Which counties listed would you say do not appreciate black women?
I was very shocked by how comfortable I felt in Germany. I was in Munich not Berlin but as a young African American woman (at the time) I felt safe and felt like a human being and not identified or treated a certain way because I was black.
I thought Germany was racist. 😮
@@Ozie1964 I honestly thought the same thing. I was expecting to feel the stares and bad energy, but it was none of that. Everyone’s experience is different, but I’ll say I felt that way in Spain.
I thought Germany would have been the least welcoming country to black people become of the history
Depends on where. In the west, I had no issues, east you might get something.
@@josephmarch7142 that could very well be true. I was in Munich only so I have no idea about the rest of the country.
Thank you for this list. As a black woman I went to Germany and got nothing but love. German men were such gentlemen and always kind and helpful! They also have a huge appreciation for American jazz.
I like your TOP Three! Salute that. Fire off that PART II. The outro to this vid is 🔥.
Serious slave mentality.
Does not even recognize Africa exists, pity the list soul!
They stare@ Black Americans because were Beautiful ❤
😅😅😅
Mentioning the assumptions at the end was great! Reality is discrimination and racism does exist, but not everyone is the same. So, this video is valuable, necessary and appreciated! This video confirmed some of the countries on my travel plans. This is a great video and I look forward to seeing part II!
#7 Thailand
#6 Germany Berlin
#5 United Kingdom London
#4 France Cities Outside of Eiffel Tower
#3 Brazil Copacabana Beach
#2 Colombia Cartegena & Cali

It's based on his experiences. Its his opinion.
Yeah cause Germany still has nazi rs that will hurt you and France is racist af, meanwhile in Colombia you will get robbed or kidnapped once the thugs learn of your spending...
Which is good. We need more experiences to be shared for specifically "Black Men". Theres lots of contnent on youtube for black women. Best of luck.

@@crwnofenlightenmentyou can be assured no one is checking for the ‘black men’ . I believe it’s safe to say a person’s life is much safer without the ‘th*gs 😁
Thank you, great tips! Yes, have a part 2. 😊
I went to Rome, Italy last month and loved it. Went to London years ago and had a good time there as well. Going back to Italy as soon as possible.
I dunno, too any blk and asian people said Italy was prejudice AF.
Rome was lovely when I went too. I'm an African American and I have a fiance. We were at the bus stop and this beautiful Italian woman was legit staring at me I almost didn't believe it lol
@@babyuconYou listening to people who had bad experiences is a rookie move. Find out for yourself. Those people may have been rude or unfriendly and so that same energy was returned to you.
Italy? Really? All I hear about Italy is how horribly Italians treat black tourists and that the country is full of Mussolini nostalgics who hate everyone who is darker than a Sicilian.
Americans need to leave the American racial hangups in the US. I'm black British and yes there are incidents but it you take those same perspective as you have in the States you're going to always find something. Just travel as a human being.
Amazing video. I appreciate hearing a real person's perspective instead of some other channels with AI voices reading lists from the Internet lol. And thank you for the message at the end.
You are so right! Let spread Love! I’m 70 years old and still haven’t found home! I hate routine! I’m an active Christian! 2025 will be the year that I’m going to find my community, my people! I want to live in an walkable, well maintained area, organic food and not super expensive! Any ideas?
True, I'm 60 and most of these countries are racist . Christian people, we must be strong this is God's world.
God bless.
For black African American men , I recommend East Africa .. for black African American women.. I recommend South Africa
A part 2 would be great!
Honorable mention: Canada 🇨🇦 top cities for African Americans to visit or stay are:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 🏒🥅
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦 🎬
I am a middle class native of South Dakota and consider the Midwestern United States 🇺🇸 🌽 as my home and Canadians 🇨🇦 as well as the English 🏴 in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 as my second home because of their humor and legendary comedy culture 🎭
I keep hearing good things about Vancouver, but apparently it's extremely expensive.
I am surprised the country where I was borned didn’t make it. Panamanians are friendly and welcoming.
Panama is a great country, I enjoyed my self out there
I agree. Panama and Morocco should be on the list
@@ShawnRussel-ql4tk Morocco? Heard they were very prejudiced
@dmcarden that's interesting as it is in Africa.
Blacks show love not weaponizes info to use it against people. But spread knowledge out and pushed humanity Foward.
Been to most of these places except Thailand and Costa Rica. I ♥️🇧🇷. I got sooo much love. Eu falo um pouco agora. The people were super cool. Germany also was dope. Netherlands (Amsterdam), Columbia, and believe it or not... Norway was crazy fun. This was years ago but back then, their club scene was live.
Thank you very much for this video. I found your information and tips to be absolutely amazing. I am pretty much exploring the idea of travel outside of the US. Hearing you say that you are from Brooklyn was music to my ears because I am as well. I will definitely share this video with my family as we plan for our trip. Thank you!👍
I think unless you talk to someone who's stayed in a country for an extended period of time you truly never know how a country is. We as Americans know what states are friendly towards us.
♥️ Love the video! As a white girl, I also want to travel to countries where black people feel comfortable and really value content like this when deciding where to plan my next trip. ♥️
Lived in Germany for 3 years and they love black people esp black men! Lots of beautiful African & Dominican women there. Going back ASAP!
Which parts of Germany do you recommend? And also, would you prefer Germany over France?
@@crwnofenlightenment Frankfurt, Rheinland-Pfalz, Cologne, I’d stay in a larger city and explore smaller areas from there. Never made it to France, unfortunately.

Thank you so much for following up. I visited cologne last year and loved it.
Dude need to research the history of France black people.
I’ll look in to it, thanks for tuning in
Key term, “African-American”. As long as they know you’re an American, you have that privilege. But, there is a way that we’re not treated as odd in France. If you haven’t been to Marseille, I definitely recommend it.
Please, give a few incites about France and Black people. I have always heard good things about France and Black people.
@@tlove610 having a lot of black people, without giving them the same opportunities as white people, isn’t that great. If you go to college, have a creative or academic profession, this can help your status. Especially true when you mainly identify as French-not African-French. There are many circumstances among the diaspora. Not all are treated or feel the same.
Shut up and let my man cook
Reading these comments...smh lol
Here's the bottom line folks, this is HIS experience ... your mileage may differ, and so be it - no wahala (worries/problem).
Kemoy - keep the content coming. Appreciate you. By the way ... where can I get that shirt.
I got five years on my passport and this just made me want to go somewhere. I'll start close and visit mexico first 😊
This is very informative because I've been reluctant to traveling across the globe due to extreme racism I experienced in as a black man in Ahmedabad India & Egypt which traumatized me to the point where I never wanted to travel again Im a strong person but I literally broke down because i experienced racism in America but this was different & i could feel the animosity surrounding me I didn't even make it to the Nubian Village that I planned on visiting because of how traumatized i was & I'm a Strong person but Racism Breaks me because I don't understand where the hate comes from or why
Glad it was helpful thanks for watching!
I live in Italy, my mom and stepfather were Italian but my biological father was Brazilian, mixed of White, Black and Gipsy. I travelled with him to Brazil to meet my biological family and I was really surprised to see how lovely and kind they were! My father's family was multiracial, from the most pale white to the darkest skin shade and they all loved each other without any difference and they taught me to love and embrace all colors, ethnicities, cultures and nationalities. I miss so much that wonderful country, and when you mentioned it, I'm not ashamed to say that a lil tear came out from my eyes. Thank you so much for your kind words about Brazil! I really appreciated it. Moreover, my aunt by my mom's side lived in a small seaside town in the region of Liguria where there's an American military base, and many of them made friendship with the locals, so I can say that there are nice and kind Americans as well, at least those who are stationed here, some of them even made families with locals and chose to stay here to live. Lots of greetings and blessings from Italy ☮️🙏🌸🌷
Thank you!!! I was just thinking about “where to visit if you’re Black American 🇺🇸.”
Do a part 2 and include cost of living.
Thank you young man that was great
Germany 👍🏽 Brazil 👍🏽
enjoyed this
Glad you liked this, thanks for tuning in!
A couple of countries that get missed, Norway and Sweden. People think that since there isn’t a large African presence they aren’t cool with Black people. I’ve been to both countries many times and they are very cool. Sweden does have a significant population of North Africans that I was surprised to find.
Wonder why no African countries made the list? I love South Africa and am trying to relocate.
This was more so to shed light on places that’s not of African descent. It’s a given that we don’t have to worry about traveling to African countries because of the color of our skin.
Makes sense, much respect and thanks for sharing!
@@kemoy_martincap! Brazilians are of African decent and Colombia

Which would you choose between Costa Rica and Brazil for first time travel?
For first time travel, I’d recommend Costa Rica over Brazil
Thanks Brotha Man...part 2 please?
Down Under for the United Kingdom? Isn't that Australia?😂🙏🏾
I absolutely love Berlin
I love Kenya. I’ve been to many European counties and Brazil as well. Brazil was alright by me.
SLOVENIA AND CROATIA WERE COOL WHEN I VISITED
Turkey and Portugal are 2 good choices - they focus little on skin colour
Not gonna lie I’m shocked Portugal isn’t on the list.
Maybe, he hasn’t been there yet. I was there for 3 weeks in June, and I was happy to have been treated so nicely. I expected it, but I didn’t expect everyone to think I was Portuguese. Not from a colony, but just Portuguese. I was told I looked like someone whose ancestors came from Africa and Brazil mixture, but I was born in Portugal. As a result, I would just be Portuguese. Trippy!
@@Nubianette I’m trying to learn Portuguese. I’m going back in May for Soul Fusion House. I can’t WAIT!!!!

Yes indeed!
I actually heard that racism is very prevalent in Brazil….
Thank you so mich for the information. What about a list of Safe Places to visit as a Single Black woman?
Thanks for tuning in! I’ll be sure to touch on that subject with a queen soon.
I watched this and was skipping ahead, and I was disappointed that you didn't mention Costa Rica---until I saw it come in #1. I am a white person in Costa Rica, so my experiences are different, but I agree in general I just feel a sense of welcome here. Its not just big stuff, but little stuff---if you accidentally bump someone, or walk in front of their car, they don't seem angry. The only thing I would say is its possible to oversell Costa Rica---its a nice place and I like it here, but people who are coming here expecting to see a country without poverty or division might be disappointed.
Dope video.
Which of these countries are the cheapest and most affordable to live? If you could pleeeeeeeease do a video on the cheapest locations or countries that you found that would be appreciated!! 😁
Hello. Thank you for the info but I am hearing the opposite of what you are saying for Columbia, Brazil and France.
People sometimes have different experiences. Have you experienced any of these places yet?
@@kemoy_martin Not yet 😁
I've seen on multiple videos saying some of the countries you've suggested still have a "colourism" issue. How far off the beaten path are you traveling to fully whose yourself to the true culture and not the tourist culture?
I have heard negative things, but every country has nice respectful people, but sadly the bad apples can ruin a trip.

Which of these countries would say is a better fit for older Black American families to visit?
We’re American. We can go most places. This country is more dangerous than most places you would go on vacation. Explore TripAdvisor, and get an idea on what you’d like to do and where you’d want to go.
I have a query, is there an up to date version of countries to visit?
I wouldnt go to Brazil or Columbia because of the crime there. I wouldn't go to France because of what they did to the Hatians. And they will not help them.
Not true! The tourist areas are actually quite safe, stick to the tourist areas and play low key with jewelry and stuff and you will be fine.
I hear Brazil has the most mix race people out of any country so it would make since for African Americans to blend in.
In part 2, tell us where we should stay. Resorts? AirBNB?
Yes part 2.
I’ve heard the France Brazil and Columbia are no go countries for black people but I see them on this list as friendly now which is it because I think Brazilian and Colombian women are amongst some of the most beautiful women in the world but I wouldn’t go to either country just because you never know you could get there and never be seen or heard from again

Brazile made the list of many others as one of most racist . How they treat the darker skinned residents and the trauma they feel. A few other RUclips black travelers also had heart breaking experiences. I'm so surprised about Brazile.
"Good" and "bad" ppl are all over the world
