Darn moosh your supposed to be the expert ruclips.net/video/Gii7ACVnxP4/видео.html See the thing is if one of the companies starts offering PTO and Healthcare then who would drive for a company that didn't. The whole reason that we are able to make much is the driver shortage.
Exactly like when I was at Papa John's you have to take long, no-tip orders. Yes you make $7.25/hr in store, but only $4.25 while on a run. A good hour with pizza is $10/hr, takes a great hour to make $20/hr, but you do get that weekly $200 paycheck lol. I'll stick with Indy Contractor
Right on. Pay me absolutely crap money and still use my car and all and if that wasn't great enough.....no more flexibility and control over our decisions. Sign me up.....sign me right up! Can't wait!!!
I recently moved to Connecticut and dasher base pay is actually $4. I double checked on the few orders I did and it says $4 on all of them. The thing is that people tip less on doordash than where I moved from. What's funny is that UberEats has better tips in ct especially during the weekend. Now I mainly do UberEats
Being an employee for food delivery is not having the freedom to choose when to work, where to work, what apps to work, who to work for and why we choose to work. As an independent contractor we get to choose. Personally I like bring an independent contractor because I can choose to work the food delivery apps when I don’t have family and friends to spend time with. When I do have family and friends to spend time with I’ll take the day off.
Oh good lord! Why don't they just work for McDonalds or another fast food company! Do they know what 1099 means? These people are the same ones that don't vote for their best interests. They don't have to work for the gig economy! I would like to write to those lawyers.
@@ZzLuLz For what? I can see fighting for fairness in pay, but to become an employee??? Not all of us want or desire that! I work this as a second job at MY CONVENIENCE! I refuse to work another W2. Another thing, no one is putting a gun to anyone's head to work these apps. We don't live in a Socialist society where your career is predetermined before you graduate high school!
Lol if so I would go to every restaurant and wait in the longest line possible and tell them make my order after they done with everyone 1 order per hour 🤣
Yeah bro it's coming. Same thing in Co they will have to pay minimum wage and also paid time off. The thing is it just not independent contracting. They have already said they still want us to work them the same.
Yea go interview who started this an who made the flyers I bet you it’s not a driver it’s someone that will change things for what the g wants! They want no 1099 no Independent contractors. I become an employee an then you take all orders period.. people are crazy leave it alone go work for a taxi company or a limo company or for pea pod type are in supermarket delivery’s or instacart gas ins tire shoppers.. so disgusted by this leave us alone go find a w2 it’s absurd
I wanna work when I want where I want and when I want !! Freedom
If you're an employee, you have to accept all of your orders.
Yes, correct

You make perfect sense but i feel a lot of people don't get the big picture.
Absolutely not. I wouldn’t do these apps as an employee. 👎🏼

Our base $2.00 if you have doorpass
For 2.25
The only way that you going to get a $4 base pay if it over a certain amount of miles
A union for gig workers . These people are dreaming. Wait till they pay union dues that do nothing for them . 🤣
I hope this is optional and not universal for us.
Yes I want all of the orders for $3/hr

@@ZzLuLz Then get your CDL license and work for a trucking or delivery company with set hours! Grow up!
@@ZzLuLz In fact, go apply for UPS, FedEx, Amazon, or DHL. They are hiring.
