I have lived in Thailand for 22 years and moved here from beautiful Boulder, Colorado, and finally got married to a beautiful Thai wife. I have my first house in Ko Samui and my wife wanted to move to the Nakhon Sawan area which we did and have beautiful Thai house in a small Thai Village which is very peaceful now at 66 years old am never going back to the U.S. The roads are so smooth and well built in Thailand, unlike Laos which are mainly dirt roads. I study Tibetan Buddhism but love Thai Buddhism as well.
Thank you for sharing! I haven't been to Nakhon Sawan but it looks beautiful. Maybe I will make it there on my next Thailand trip after I have finished riding south.
I think Phrae, Nan, and Chiang Rai are the most beautiful provinces in the north. Some epic drone shots in this one, hope the drone survived the crash haha
I absolutely love Northern Thailand. The southern is also incredibly beautiful, but the north has something special, the culture, the scenery, the food.💗💗💗
The scene with the standing Buddha looking over the valley is sublimely magnificent. The feeling you get when you are around the temples or religious monuments is the inner peace. We all strive for that. I'm glad you have your moment of inner peace, Joe. Journey on.
Phrae is my hometown but I don't belive that legend at all.I think it's atmosphere make it feel like a city of ghost. And Lab never put lemon juice on but sour came from a local herb called Ma-khuaen! Have a nice trip in Phrae.
Welcome to Phrae, Thailand. If you come next time, I recommend you to go to Phrae. Wat Phra That Doi Leng as well, which here will see both the city view and the mountain view, very beautiful, not less than anywhere else, not far from the city and not from Wat Phra That Cho Hae.
Must be the Smokey air hahaha! Yeah Phrae is such a charming province! Don’t miss out on Nan too, check those videos out and you’ll be adding that to the list as well I’m sure
Thank you Panna, you are single handedly easing the burden of increased costs of travelling through southern Thailand. I really appreciate the support :)
@@hungrytoexplore Here, there, here, there until you reach the big time. It is quite cheap for my way of traveling...through you. You're welcome/ De nada/De rien/ Mai PBen Rai.
So nice to see these beautiful places. Watching content like this is one of many reasons I stopped watching TV a few years ago. Why would I when I can choose stuff like this? That food looked superb btw!
Yeah, totally understand that, I am the same. I hardly even watch Netflix these days. To be fair, I hardly have time for RUclips, but if I do, it is RUclips that I am turning to.
@@hungrytoexplore Just booked up a month in Madeira. Well 34 nights actually so I'll be going back on your vids to check out some of the restaurants! I Actually the La Vie shopping mall is just a few minutes walk and they do really good meals in there. It's self service and you pay by weight.
@@paul756uk2 oh that is awesome, I am a little jealous haha. Are you going to get a car? Yeah the Pingo Dice food halls are good for a quick, easy, cheap bite. You are well located, I usually stay around La Vie, if I am staying in Funchal.
@@hungrytoexplore yeh we'll be getting a car for sure. Not for the whole period but maybe a couple of weeks. We booked the same apartment as last time. It's above the Espaco restaurant in Rua de Carreira. We looked around at somewhere different but it's so central to the old part of town, the lido and the park is just a few minutes away and is so convenient. Really looking forward to it. Thing is, since we went in 2019 we're limited to 90 days in the Schengen zone and we'd like to go back to Europe so it should work out ok if we're back home for a month in May then we'll recover those days. Where do you stay when you're in Funchal?
@@paul756uk2 I usually get an AirBnB just across from La Vie, above Bioforma. Or I used to stay in Camponario when with my ex gf. Just check on the Schengen thing as it is a rolling count so you only get the days back after 6 months have passed for those days... there are calculators online for it. Thankfully those days are behind me now I have secured my Italian passport.
Hi, I'm from Thailand. My mother hasn't been there yet. It's very beautiful. I like your video. Sorry, I may have the wrong number. I translated it. This is for learning English.
To be honest I am not a big fan of a landscape like Pae Muang Pee. However it's rich with history and you make it's more interesting by telling the legendary. Funny that you were searching for the coffin and the music got along very well 🤣. I am wondering how it would be if you really found the coffin. 😂 The views from the video are also fascinating, thanks for sharing. 💕
Haha you’d see me running if I found the coffin! Just kidding, I don’t get scared easily. I think you’d appreciate the landscape much more if you were there, it is beautiful. But the province in general is a great place. Lots to do and varied. Great food too.
@@hungrytoexplore Did you had good Christmas Holiday. And I want to wish you a Healthy Happy New year. So I saw that you went to Madera this year , how long did you went for.
Oh!! They were so kind and so friendly. But above all the food is very very tasty. I will be back to visit Phrae, don’t worry (did you see my other video on Phrae?) I’ll for sure be back in bkk soon to eat too haha
