    Small addition: You CAN save presets in Aseteks RaceHub, with this little info button. Thanks to Happy for the advice! -Michel

    Hello from Canada ! I own a set of CRP pedals since June of last year and Sim Labs XP1 with clutch 3 months later; I was not comfortable at first with the Moza, finding they were not easy to modulate and achieve consistent braking results; when I got the XP1, it was a revelation :) instantly repeatable performance and feel ! did some adjusting with elastomer and spring combo to my liking and have not touched them since !
    I have 2 race rigs, the Moza were "demoted" to the second rig, until I decided to take the time to change settings in Pit house, tried different spring and elastomer combo to approach the same brake feel and pedal travel as with the XP1;
    I succeded and they are now back on the primary rig, mainly to be able to use Moza's "auto blip" feature. after 8-9 months, I can go back and forth between rigs and feel comfortable.
    So my point is: you get use to what you have, it comes down to each brand characteristics and most importantly, software management.

    Im running the Asetek La Prima pedals which are basically the forte pedals without the led straps and the spring on the throttle. Im absolutely amazed

    I like the potential upgrade path for the CRP 2. The active pedal could be a bit of a revolution, depending on the price.

    I've heard really good things about the simlab pedals. Very aesthetically pleasing too.

    Simagic P1000 with the hydraulic brake and the haptic motors. No regrets.

      That is my setup minus the hydraulic brake. Great thing about the p1000's is that is an easy upgrade if I choose to go with it in the future.

    • @Real28

      Came here to say this but minus hydraulic.
      Just get the spring kit, the hydraulic is cool but still pressing against the rubber bushings. Switching to spring means better, more consistent resistance and longer life, WAY longer life.
      P1000 + haptics + spring kit

    I've had the Asetek forte s pedals for a couple of weeks now. Initially I was not impressed with the brake feel, but I'm slowly getting used to it. However, if I could turn back the clock, I would go with my second choice, which were the simagic P1000's with the haptics.

    • @Jo-Jo-Joris-87
      @Jo-Jo-Joris-87 3 месяца назад +1

      Just enioy the better forte padels and be happy that you know now that Asetek is also comming with haptics soon! No, this is not official just believe me! And if you cant wait for them, just buy the simagic haptics with the connectbox and put the p1000 haptics on your forte, padels. Google forte haptic mod. And you will have the best of both worlds! So longterm you made the right choose. You just don,t knew it yet. 🏎 🏎 🫡

    Very interesting. Asetek S pedals it is then. Anyone know if Asetek is working on an active pedal or is it just the active hydraulics?

    • @Jo-Jo-Joris-87
      @Jo-Jo-Joris-87 3 месяца назад +3

      They are working in haptics for sure in the shorter run. Easier then active. They just need a haptic system and slam it on there already great padels. Also i am sure they will sell the haptics separate. And you can also mod the simagic haptics on the asetek or any other padelset. Asetek is also awesome for there open platform and minimale bullcrap policy!

      Asetek have recently said they will never work on active pedals because it's a gimmick. However they are developing an ABS system for the brake pedal, I'd guess it's one of their next projects after the invicta wheel is released.

    Thanks for the review but why no Simagic P1000 or P2000 pedals in the mix?
    They are of similar price and have a USP too with the haptic reactors as well as flexibility options.

    The fact you didn't have the simagic p1000s here blows my mind when it's probably the most popular and bought one. Lol
    Amazing reason trail braking is absolutely incredible 27k different ways to adjust it. Insane insane brake. Can upgrade a ton, go hydraulic, use haptics, buy an inverted stand and more. Like im sry but I've yet to feel a single brake feel better then the p1000s.
    The xp1 are rock solid stiff and feel very unatural without g forces. People seem to love judging cars with pedals in sim racing yet never take into account that gforce push you into the pedals making it much easier to press. Sitting still brakes should have progression. Softer at first into a heavier force like a road car or gt car. Makes it much easier on drivers without utilizing g forces.
    Just saying sim racing pedals shouldn't feel like an f1 car where your entire weight is transfering into the brake. It's why in many testings people actually like a little more travel with full control over every single 1% all the way up to 100% where yoy can calculate each spot instesd of guessing with such small small stiff stiff movement.

    I would not buy the XP1 set and at 10:24 you can see exactly why. On my pedals i had an elastomere stack without any safetyfeatures for the elastomere and that was a big problem in one of my races. One of the elastomere broke midrace and i had to give up. Since than i switched to a metal cap over my elastomere stack.

    Hi!
    Great comparison video. Thanks!
    To answer the question regarding brake curves. I have tried "S" curves, "Exponential or Learning" curves, and "Linear" curves.
    I've come to like the linear curve best, but it took a bit to really appreciate it.
    I currently have a Thrustmaster LCM pedal set. I just upgraded my wheel base to Moza R16. Would you stay in the Moza ecosystem or go to SimLab or Asetek?

    • @OverTake_gg
      @OverTake_gg  3 месяца назад

      If you are on PC the only advantage would be having one software less on your hard drive and maybe saving a USB port as you could connect the pedals to your wheel base (if you have the newer versions with the RJ port). -Michel

    DONT BUY MOZA, I purchased a R9 V2 and as soon as i got it out of the box it was defective, turns out there was rust and corrosion in the Base, they sent me a new board which did not fix the problem, which is when i found rust and corrosion inside of the base, so they had me send it back and they put a third main board in the base which guess what did not fix the problem and now their support is ignoring me, so i have purchased a brand new R9 V2 in August and i have never got to use it and now im stuck with a non functioning R9

    Any pedals over 100eur/usd are hugely overpriced. A surface, a stick and hinge.. Justifying CNC? How about diamonds?
    PS only "next gen" thing for brakes are vibration motor +50 and FFB +150. Makes it 250 + 50 for inversion. And not those simple fetish sets we've got offered.
    PPS there is one extra element that is not unlocked by any of current brands ;)
