I QUIT During COVID, and My Success Jumped

I quit my job during the middle of the COVID 19 pandemic, and it was the best decision I ever made in my life, and my success jumped forwards. I took a big risk quitting my job while everybody in the world seemed to be losing their jobs, and struggling. Still, quitting during COVID turned out to be the best decision I made, and it's thanks to that decision that I ended up where I am today.
We'll also talk about what I did to prepare myself for taking on that risk, and what luck had to do with my success. Then of course we'll talk about the future, and what risk I'll be taking on in the future on my journey to success and financial freedom.

I agree that it takes a bit of luck, but I've noticed that the people that don't get lucky usually don't take risks. It takes lots of risks to get "lucky" on the one that ends up propelling you forward. Keep it up man!

I feel this. Luck is made. It’s preparation + opportunity. George Bernard Shaw said something like “If you cant find the opportunities you want, make them”

I also agree: unemployment is a fun risk to take as long as you have a little preparation (minimizing bills, previously saving cash from your employed days, taking cash jobs as you travel). You made your luck

I got less than a 1% raise recently. Something like .009%, boss told me I was a the top of my pay grade for the position.

Yes. If you had not been prepared for your opportunities, they still would have come along, but you would have been ineligible, which looks like “bad luck”
