Thanks a lot brother, First I decided to make this creation of yours and started collecting the items in survival but when I started watching the tutorial I got damn pissed 😑, but now I'm ok 👍
For anyone wondering what to do for the banner: Start with yellow Dye red Field Masoned (the bricks) Dye Red Fess (across the middle) Dye red Bordure (the border) Dye red Pale Sinister (the small right vertical) Dye red Pale Dexter (the small left vertical)
I love this house and I decided to build it for myself on a server. It is not however a "simple" tutorial. There is no talking or instruction on what materials to use next and the author jumps around all over the place. I had to watch several parts many times. It is also built in this video on creative and I am building it on survival. A lot of the item counts were also off (although I did appreciate the item list) so I had to stop several times to gather more items to complete the section I was working on at the time. Beautiful house and design, frustrating tutorial. NOT simple at all.
I agree because I experienced the same problems, same goes for the material problem but luckily I made extra materials just in case so here is a tip for others who didn't begin yet, gather extra materials than what the list says. Also the material list is missing a few items, you can see them on one of the top comments. At the end of the tutorial you could see this person building with stone bricks around the house, this may not be part of the tutorial but if someone could, I'd like to know how to do this since it makes the house more beautiful!

I absolutely love this build and it's very easy follow along but I did notice that the amounts are pretty far off for a lot of items such as lanterns, polished deepslate walls, stone brick walls and stripped cherry logs and there are a lot of items that weren't accounted for at all such as polished andesite and mud. If anyone is attempting to follow in survival just be mindful that you will have to go back out and get quite a few things! Otherwise, great video!

can i instead of using calcite use polished diorite?

i believe diorite would be the next best thing ! tho if that's too busy white concrete/concrete powder(?) or white wool could work too?
