i liked midna until she turned into a freaky human ish thing she was one of the bright spots in a game i didn't always enjoy :) but i love fi (even if she is a bit redundant)
Fi's theme has always brought me a sense of some type security... I think it's just me making the connection between her and her being a sword. (I also cried when she left me :( )

actually im glad fi was more in the background as a companion character unlike midna, the story in skyward sword is already really good and focuses on link and zelda, there was no need to add more to the plot, playing hd version on switch i really didnt mind her and still liked her as a weird robot ghost with cool design and voice, and this music.. damn and i still got a little emotional when she was leaving

You must remember that the Master Sword's power was destroyed before WW, which many people believe would either kill or release Fi, possibly only destroying her memory. People connect that to her similar appearance to the Great Fairies in WW, particularly the queen.

Fi gives whole new meaning to the sword glowing in OoT right before Link stabs Ganon... And when you have to re-power the Master Sword in WW by making it "sparkle with the power to repel evil"... And when the sword glows in the Twilight Realm
it's seems to be, that when Fi says goodbye to you and says that she hopes to meet you in another live, it could mean that navy might be what's left of Fi after she falls in the endless sleep. at least that's how i see it.

I really really liked her, more than Midna (which a lot of people don't say) Mida had a lot of character to begin with and had it shaped throughout the game; Fi had no character, only logics and Data, the fact she developed and started that emotion at the end really made me happy. She had some funny moments to :P Im not gonna lie, I thought she was annoying at parts, but all guides are XD
