As a new graduate NP, this video is very helpful! The day after I took my exam, I submitted all the necesarry paperwork and I am currently waiting for full licensure. It is taking forever for the board of nursing to get my background check results and it is super frustrating. For the time being, my state's board of nursing was kind enough to give me a temporary license.

can you get a job with temporary license?

@@militur33mind I think so! I just can't prescribe medicine until I have the official license. Nonetheless, I still have my credentials.

@@CMoneyRN I have a temporary license in NV. when you say credentials, is that for the patients' insurance? I'm confuse when they bring up credentialing.

Question: Ive seen many pmhnp new grads say they received job offers prior to graduation. So you can still apply to jobs and get hired even though the licensing and credentialing times are SO long? How is that?
