Probably most of you guys don't know Japan is one of the places gets snow most in the world. The cold wind from north absorbs tons of moisture from the sea of Japan and it hits to mountains.
The pacific side, instead, gets dry and cold wind from the mountains. This is one of the reason why Tokyo and Osaka are the big two cities in Japan.

I lived where it snowed a fair amount, but nothing like some of these scenes. One of the best presents I've ever received was a snow thrower from my Mom. It had a Tecumseh 2 cycle engine, but it always started on the first pull, and it was so easy to clear our walk and driveway. The snow was always a dry powder, so the machine had no trouble making quick work of the task. The second best day was the day I sold it because we were moving to an area that did not receive snow.

@@draggy6544 We moved from Cedar City, Utah to Blythe, California. It was a huge difference in climate. If you haven't heard of either place, I understand. Cedar City is about 5,800 feet elevation in Southern Utah, and can get a fair amount of snow, but it is all dry powder. It can be difficult to make a decent snowball with it. Blythe, is in the desert by the Colorado River, and having high temperatures of 115 is common each year. From what I understand, the last time it snowed in Blythe, was in the 1930's, and everything ground to a halt with one inch of snow on the ground.

Okay you snowplowing watching guys and gals, you want to see snowplowing in action? Well check out the snowplowing and sometimes rock and tree pieces removal(from avalanches) on RUclips videos.
    1. Beartooth Pass, Wyoming/Montana Border
    2. The U.S. National Parks: Rocky National Park, Colorado; Crater Lake, Oregon; Glacier National Park, Montana; Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. These all start snowplowing around middle of April. Glacier National Park has been known to not get finished until early July because of a heavy snowfall season with road repair and replace guardrails that are taken out in avalanche paths in the fall.
    3. Snowplowing like on U.S. Highway 6 from Interstate 70 to Keystone Ski Resort area.
    4. The baddest, narlyess, the dangerous or deadliest is snowplowing and even just driving over Red Mountain Pass, Colorado.
Just happens to be the most dangerous paved Mountain Pass in all of Canada and the U.S. The most avalanche paths(72) per mile in both these countries. NO GUARDRAILS most of this 26 mile Pass road. 3/4 miles south of Ouray(pronounced U-ray, named after a Ute Native American Indian Chief) going southbound it drops off to about 800 FEET DOWN to the river gorge below at a 65 to 70 degree angle downward. Rock and mud slides happen. Deer and mountain sheep or is it goats there as well. The Colorado Department of Transportation(snowplowing responsibility) keeps this paved Mountain Pass open yearlong because it is one of north/south highways in that part of the state.
In March, 2019 the C.D.O.T. closed down this Pass for 17 days STRAIGHT. Avalanches buried a part of the Pass 60 FEET DEEP. The gorge below almost was filled up to the level of the road itself. There about 120 feet deep to 800 feet further down the river gorge I mentioned earlier.
