Top lane is the most boring thing to watch in LCS. Its just two tanks every game playing wet noodle, and if they try anything else, it either gets ganked non-stop or becomes unstoppable. Remember when games were less about reflex and more about strategy?

I feel so bad watching this video, because while some people will think that this is just normal hash raging at the game, there's an underlying sadness behind his anger. It kinda sucks too cuz when we don't enjoy a game we can just quit and find a new game. As a streamer, if he quits league and try another game he basically loses his job. So I understand where he's coming from.
But if he's done his job as a streamer and cultivated a following based on his personality, he should be able to play a different moba and keep some following. Obviously it is a risk and he'll lose some portion of his following, but if they're not watching him for his personality, than they're watching him off of the strength of the game anyway, and he obviously doesn't agree with them.
Well most streamers on twitch have a "main game", unless you're a big variety streamer like lirik, a huge majority of your following will be lost if you convert games. For example DSPStanky from overwatch, made a big name for himself in the overwatch community as a lucio main, swapped to variety streamer, and i think he gets like 100 viewers average now. Sure he would be able to keep some loyal viewers, but his earnings while playing a different moba or game compared to league will be a huge loss. Most people watch streamers that are good at the game, not really to watch off the strength of the game, if people wanted to watch off the strength of the game, then hashinshin would just play tanks all day and not stuff like jax. Basically saying that he doesn't agree with the meta of league now but is unable to quit and forced to play it because it's his job.

Yes he could have some following follow him to any game, but that doesn't mean a thing. Michael Jordan had people follow him to play baseball and where did that lead? It isn't just "a risk" when it is your job, your income. If your boss came up to you and said "we know you are a great fridge salesman, but now we would like you to sell every kitchen appliance, and also you will be making a portion of what you're making now, but if you sell well enough you could maybe make more on commission in the future" you aren't going to want to take that deal in the hope that your customerbase follows you and gives you more commission on the sales. You're going to stay where you are because you took years to learn everything about fridges. I am frustrated that the game is not enjoyable anymore to me, and it is very fixable to make it enjoyable in many ways in my opinion. So to have that frustration i have and know that it is not just a hobby or even a thing i can play an hour a night. Instead to have it be 8 hours a day or i can't pay my bills. Then you're pretty justified to be as frustrated as he is right now.

He activated it a tad late as jax must do the twirl animation for it to actually dodge. It looked more as if as soon as fiora went in for the vital Jax was raising his weapon to perform counter strike even if he casted it before firoa hit the vital.

Most riven players don't even know how to do a simple e q w combo so who really cares about how popular she is ? legit everyone in higher elo runs hourglass to prevent early kill dominance and jungling has never been so easy. back in the day support items took skill to use, i dont think ive seen someone buy Mikael's Crucible in forever but everyone spams redemtion and aoe shields because thats all you need to do.
Spirit's Pride shyvanas more of a bruiser now. Shes one of those weird champs that gets tanky but you don't necessarily have to build any tank items. Normally I get a frozen mallet and that's it. Sometimes you go more tanky, but thats just itemisation.
The funniest part about this in hindsight is the fact that the first time I played against a riot employee in league was in bronze/silver and they were playing Ornn, I'm not even joking lol.

As an ADC main, I completely agree with him. I played ADC back in Season 5, when everything could shut us down, and it was HARD. I mean, anticipating ganks that were theoretically difficult to pull off anyways, just to make sure you could farm, not walking up in teamfights unless everyone was accounted for, and even then positioning was a goddamn nightmare. Now, anyone can just play Twitch or Vayne, get ganked, and carry like they're Gosu. The role has deteriorated from one of the most respected to the most broken role hands-down. It's easier than ever to survive a teamfight, especially with a support attached to your hip, and teamfights are an insta-win as long as you have your IE-Shiv. (For Vayne, Tristana, and Twitch, at least.) The role is a joke and people still aren't satisfied, while the only role that hasn't gotten easier is top lane. (Jungle and Mid Lane are a joke now as well.) League just isn't about skill anymore, or practicing a role/champion. It's just about what gets bitched about the most.

Well LCS is like Soccer where both goalkeepers keep kicking the ball across the whole pitch and it would go from GK 1 to GK 2 to GK1 back and fourth and the 20 players in the middle would watch Game of Thrones in the middle. The game only ends when one goalkeeper misses the ball and the other goalie scores from a full pitch length. Or even worse when you know how the game will end immedietly from champ select that even playing the game is pointless because one team has much better draft. (Like soccer FC NOWHERE vs FC BARCELONA)
Thing is before in LCS you had things like TSM or C9 or Gambit or Fnatic. Now I dont really feel anything towards anyone on the LCS stage and I dont give a damn.

To everyone who thinks Fiora landed the Q before his Counterstrike. If you put it in .25 speed, you can literally see him pop it as she's mid dash, which should block the Q.
Dade Even if that's the case, I just looked at Jax's and Fiora's wiki and ability page on the League website. Nowhere does it say Fiora's Q or Lunge counts as a basic attack, which Jax's E or Counter Strike says causes to miss. It doesn't say he dodges all physical damage abilities which is what her Q should count as. He gets upset over something that is working as intended anyway. All the other commentary is whatever.
And if you go frame by frame you'll see that her lunge particle and his counterstrike particle trigger simultaneously. BUT lunge particle doesn't trigger if it doesn't have a target, while counterstrike doesn't require a target. So while visually it looks like he was on time, HE WASN'T. The lunge had already gone through systematically, the visual just hadn't come out yet because the visual **can't** come out before the system decides it's hit, that would be retarded.

The only time a unconventional pick is done is when someone thinks they're going to have fun like Karma mid, Jax top, Naut Jungle or something that use to be the way it was played but today it's become something of a relic as every role has to be set in stone and every sole has picks else you're goin in full well of crippling yourself. Esp with everyone being able to use the stopwatch or making it barely punishing to lose your jungle Riot has really catered hard to the mind set that these are the roles you pick these there else you don't get to play.

There is like 16 of them in the game or something whereas his role has 40+ so adcs being in a bad state is more detrimental to the game then top lane. If there is was no tank meta, there would be assassin meta. If there was no assassin meta, there would be marksman meta. If there were neither of any metas, there would be a caster meta. No matter what you do, there will always be a role which is more dominant than the other. None of them are fun when it's pushed too far.

Season 5-6 was when i started, and i used to have so much fun, all they needed to do from there was put out urf every other weekend and fix bugs maybe change the graphics like they did, all these new champions make it impossible to understand the game because it's so hard to get blue essence to test out the new champs and they ban your account if you talk shit in one game

tbf league's legit just never been fun again ever since they did their support rework and the subsequent Ardent Censer meta. Backline is now good in lane, good in lategame teamfights, and the only time fighters and assassins get to play is the 10 mins or so of mid game, and instead of actually putting ADCs and mages back in their place, Riot just turbo stuffs midgame with 23495843245837 objectives as bandaid fixes to keep melee champions above 0% pickrate. That in turn brings us to an insanely fast-paced meta where getting your back canceled and losing 5 seconds swings the entire fucking game, and you legit get a headache after every 3 games.

There are some really good game designers at riot) but the whole problem is that some classes will always be better than others, it's almost impossible to make everything balanced and even if it is, some champions will always outclass others.

Meanwhile ADC can just stay in lane, farm up and outscale anyone anyway. How can you complain about your role when in every game, every member on the team value you most. It kinda sucks too cuz when we don't enjoy a game we can just quit and find a new game. As a streamer, if he quits league and try another game he basically loses his job. So I understand where he's coming from.
But if he's done his job as a streamer and cultivated a following based on his personality, he should be able to play a different moba and keep some following.
Obviously it is a risk and he'll lose some portion of his following, but if they're not watching him for his personality, than they're watching him off of the strength of the game anyway, and he obviously doesn't agree with them.
Well most streamers on twitch have a "main game", unless you're a big variety streamer like lirik, a huge majority of your following will be lost if you convert games. For example DSPStanky from overwatch, made a big name for himself in the overwatch community as a lucio main, swapped to variety streamer, and i think he gets like 100 viewers average now. Sure he would be able to keep some loyal viewers, but his earnings while playing a different moba or game compared to league will be a huge loss. Most people watch streamers that are good at the game, not really to watch off the strength of the game, if people wanted to watch off the strength of the game, then hashinshin would just play tanks all day and not stuff like jax. Basically saying that he doesn't agree with the meta of league now but is unable to quit and forced to play it because it's his job.

I am frustrated that the game is not enjoyable anymore to me, and it is very fixable to make it enjoyable in many ways in my opinion.

As an ADC main, I completely agree with him. I played ADC back in Season 5, when everything could shut us down, and it was HARD. I mean, anticipating ganks that were theoretically difficult to pull off anyways, just to make sure you could farm, not walking up in teamfights unless everyone was accounted for, and even then positioning was a goddamn nightmare. Now, anyone can just play Twitch or Vayne, get ganked, and carry like they're Gosu. The role has deteriorated from one of the most respected to the most broken role hands-down. It's easier than ever to survive a teamfight, especially with a support attached to your hip, and teamfights are an insta-win as long as you have your IE-Shiv. (For Vayne, Tristana, and Twitch, at least.) The role is a joke and people still aren't satisfied, while the only role that hasn't gotten easier is top lane. (Jungle and Mid Lane are a joke now as well.) League just isn't about skill anymore, or practicing a role/champion. It's just about what gets bitched about the most.

Nowhere does it say Fiora's Q or Lunge counts as a basic attack, which Jax's E or Counter Strike says causes to miss. It doesn't say he dodges all physical damage abilities which is what her Q should count as. He gets upset over something that is working as intended anyway.

I don't understand why hashinshin gets upset about adcs. There is like 16 of them in the game or something whereas his role has 40+ so adcs being in a bad state is more detrimental to the game then top lane. His champ isn't always going to be able to 1v1 everyone like he wants. Hashinshin is more whiny than the whiny adc mains he describes lul

LhorNe Gaming you've got the right of it. Every champ being hyper mobile is the issue. One dash, long cooldown, max. That's a way to fix this game. And no dashes on ADCs because their whole point is that they die when you get on them.
being hyper mobile is fine if all the champs are balanced to be hyper mobile too. Too bad hashinshin just plays a champion riot doesn't care about. Jax only basic attacks, and they give him very little other capabilities.

tbf league's legit just never been fun again ever since they did their support rework and the subsequent Ardent Censer meta. Backline is now good in lane, good in lategame teamfights, and the only time fighters and assassins get to play is the 10 mins or so of mid game, and instead of actually putting ADCs and mages back in their place, Riot just turbo stuffs midgame with 23495843245837 objectives as bandaid fixes to keep melee champions above 0% pickrate. That in turn brings us to an insanely fast-paced meta where getting your back canceled and losing 5 seconds swings the entire fucking game, and you legit get a headache after every 3 games.
Back when his heart was broken because of Fiora and not because of Alli. I feel really bad for Hashinshin, whenever he is sad I become sad as well. Him talking about Alli is the second time he makes me emotional, first one being when Kitty almost died and he was crying on stream.

yes, everything sucks now, can't solocarry anymore, 1 inter = lose unless the enemy team fucks up, tanks do ton of damage while being unkillable, forced to play bruiser everytime and there's no good keystone for bruisers right now. You can't even splitpush that easy because of the spellbook meta even though I'm a riven main, I feel the pain of my enemies at a 30% ss cdr. Everythings not turning good as we thought before preseason. Wish they bring back fervor of battle or a huge change of meta. But he's wrong about the adcs, me playing Trynd or Jax, I can oneshot a adc by just e aa hydra aa on Trynda or q e aa w hydra on Jax. Yeah everything's boring right now.

He was not late, the game calculated it improperly, IF NOT really poorly in this scenario (ie. he has every right to be mad, it shouldn't be that poorly coded).

But you know what's the difference? They don't get to get all the farm because only ADC has that privilege so they can scale to the "late game", so most of the time if a top laner or mid laner lose in lane, they will either have to roam, outplay, take objective or find themself face first into the ground. Meanwhile ADC can just stay in lane, farm up and outscale anyone anyway. How can you complain about your role when in every game, every member on the team value you most. Most top laner that isn't an 1v5 garbage like Fiora or Irelia will end up being your second cover, heck as a Sion and Aatrox player, I've always find myself either zoning and pressuring the enemies to give my ADC breathing room or peeling for my ADC when it come to teamfight. ADC main brag about their 1v5 insane outplay but when someone touch their public hair, they bitch about their class being useless. They can just 3-4 shot a bruiser and say "it's because that's how ADC works" but when literally every other class do that to them, it become unacceptable. ADC don't just has a support because they like it. They has a support so that they can have a better time surviving. If you lose a 1v1 without your support then don't complain, because the game is working as it should be
