From my experience these cars have been wonderfull. As an mechanic I see that these cars are put together nicely. Only thing that is a problem most of the time is that the spring snaps in the front. But I have 1 myself for 3 years now and loved every day of it.
My ecu has broke twice not in space or a year, wouldn’t say they are put together nicely lol a lot of stuff they do you can’t see that is expensive to get fixed
@@Distructors2015 That only happens if you let your Oil sensor go bad and don't fix it. Then you get Oil in your ECU and it will go bad. If something is broken just fix it. It's a 22 euro sensor. You will notice it's broken because you will have alot of oil on the floor.
I've had one of these for 13 years now. Electrical malfunctions seem to be among the issues as well. I've had several heater resistors and one cabin fan fail. Also fried the alternator once. Backlighting bulbs in the center console also like to burn out for no reason. My 1.3 CDTi ultimately expired after the timing chain failed (but it had 247k km so that can happen with mileage sadly). Was partly my fault though, as it actually gave warning signs before (such as small engine cutouts or hiccups, dunno how to explain that), which I mistook for clutch judder/slipping, which wouldn't have been surprising either with wear. Luckily we found a replacement engine in good condition and the car still runs well as of now ! :)
this is correct. I have one with the 1.3 cdti myself, it is a pretty decent small engine actually (though a bit noisy), but it needs careful maintenance and oil changes as some of then can be prone to timing issues for example... :)
Im going to save money so i can buy another car, the Corsa and Peugeot 206 are worst cars I’ve ever owned like i have the Corsa for over 2 years now and I’ve spend over 2000 euros for all the repairs on the engine and sensors. Like even the smallest things such as changing the light bulbs with big hands is a hassle in itself Im going back to volvo or I’ll buy a Mercedes.

Is there any problem to be aware of with 1.3 CDTI 90 with the easytronic transmition??
Very thick pillars beside the window, takes away a chunk of ones view.
oh yeah, gotta be careful with these...almost caught me out more than once ! (luckily, as I'm a bus driver myself, I'm aware of dead angles lol)... ^^
This car with 1.3 cdti engine is basicly Fiat Grande Punto 1.3 Multijet.

But the Opel has the 6-speed M32-gearbox, which is very bad.
