I love it when Private teams as such that own these classic cars hire current professional racing drivers and they don't hold back on the cars. Brilliant to watch!
The ground effect aero on the 3.5L Group C cars was pretty damn effective. The Toyota took T1 at what is now Sydney Motorsports Park at about 320 kph, breaking two drivers' ribs in the process. Here it is in action: ruclips.net/video/ZrRcH-M5oP4/видео.htmlsi=6_76eK2eZFmXHw-9
Sometimes it can be a bit frustrating to watch historic racing when a driver can't get close to the limit of the car. In this case, though, it's the exact opposite. This guy is a proper driver and it's a joy to watch this car being driven on the limit.
Take a look at the channels of Robbert Alblas, Privateer HK, Basti78 to name a few and report back. There’s so much awsome current historic race videos on top of the main event channels, I don’t have enough time to view it all 😆
I remember when the stunning C91 was unveiled, it seemed that the 3.5 litre formula was going to have a good future when a privateer went to all that effort and huge expense to create their own car.
Seeing these cars actually get pushed is a thing to behind. These things are fast by modern standards, imagine watching them in the 80s-90s. I really wonder if group C were to come back with modern materials and safety standards how it would perform viewer wise. I know Hypercar is faster, but this is pure enthusiast bliss
I get the sentiment, but the counterpoint is that nobody would EVER want to climb out of that and remember how much they held-back. I’d be in that camp for sure.

I didn't expect a Group C car to only lift off a bit for the corner right after hitting top speed on the straight. That is damn impressive lol

These late group c cars made silly amounts of downforce. It’s the weight that lets them down compared to the f1 cars of the time.
He did take it flat.
I watched it several times, what attachments.
Wow! What a masterpiece, the shifting is amazingl.
Perfect view ❤ and symphony 🤘
Always a joy to get more Group C content! Thanks, Bozzy! \o_
No worries!

Wow very impressive on-board laps!!Flat out most corners
Flat through Signes! Nice to see this car finally fulfilling its potential.
Thank you for the uninterrupted in-car video. Awesome sound!
Was e Brett,so ein geiler scheiss! Damals mussten die Rennfahrer noch arbeiten...24 h mit 2 Fahrern, heute undenkbar
That was masterful filming, editing, and driving!

Long live Walti Brun 🇨🇭
And the Judd V10 😘
Glorious driving of Alex 👌
We saw this car testing at Donington Park U.K. back in March. Beautifully prepared, it looked like a brand new car.
Holy cow that second lap was blistering. What a drive
What a fantastic noise that engine creates. Glorious. Good old days.
What a wet-dream that would be. Thank you for sharing this, and long live group C!!
I've never seen a Muller who messes around in a race car.
Dude is straight beast-mode.
none of them play around
What a beauty it is 😍😍
That thing looks seriously fast and sounds absolutely amazing!
Bello vedere e sentire finalmente una gruppo C portata al limite.
One of the best looking group C cars!
One can afford all the car in the world. Driving a group C is earned with skills only!
It's the shifting, nothing beats the H.
smashing gears, not a clutch in sight lol
semi-auto sequential would

First video of yours I have watched. Good stuff!
That goddamn Judd engine...Group C forever!
Amazing video. This looks and sounds exactly like me in my Nissan Sentra (manual gearbox) driving my wife to work every morning.

Really cool shots from the inside....and of course from the outside also😅

Interesting to see this, but why was the new N/A 3.5 liter formula unsuccessful?
Alex Muller drove the shit out of that car. Nice to see someone really going at it and not babying the car.
Teal is the most 90's livery color there is, and it has aged very well.
Meu deus 🔥🔥🔥

Luckily they use the full Mistral straight. :D
That's a thing, Hypercars can take a lesson
Long way from NASCAR Craftsman Trucks …2003
Is that a 962?...Looks like it but doesnt sound like it
French people looking at the car:
Zis car isn't brown!
Drivers of this era are just other worldly - ZERO driver aid.... Did they even have hydration packs back then?
Und wieder ein Rennwagen mit einem richtigen Lenkrad, und nicht mit so einem Joystick wie in modernen Karren.....
And a real mechanic gearbox... 👍😉‼️💯🛢️🔥🏁🏎️🤓
@@kikiautorcman787B Yes, there is still manual work involved......
Gruppe C war das Grösste 🙌
@@Inazuma68 Die Prototypen der 70er Jahre ( CanAm und Interserie ) bleiben für mich persönlich auf ewig die Nr.1..........
This ia bit... nsfw lol. XD
The music of this motor is toxic
Super quick racecar! Your not fighting for the championship, so why so fast? Think about your life, one small mistake and your dead (just saying).

Because racedriver.
