- Kate Rusby embarks on her 'Singy Songy Session Tour' April & May 2024 - expect a more intimate show this Spring! So what will the show be this Spring! Well, Kate was reminiscing about filming the Singy Songy Sessions through 2020 (still available to view on her RUclips channel right here!) and how much she loved doing them each week to send out to you! It brought her and husband @damienokane7633 so much joy hearing from you all, your stories and how you connect with different songs. So we thought we’d bring a similar gig out on the road.
A more petite touring format so a little more acoustic in parts, with myself and the incredibly talented Damien O’Kane, Duncan Lyall and Sam Kelly.
One of the Top Ten Folk Voices of the Century, a Mercury Prize Winner and 6-times BBC Radio 2 Folk Award Winner, Rusby and her band promises stunning vocals, skilled musicianship, Yorkshire humour, and songs old and new from her impressive back catalogue 🥳🥳
Celebrating over 30 years of touring and 22 albums including her latest beautifully stunning Christmas album, Light Years, released in December 2023, Kate and her band of merry and very talented men will be visiting us in her 50th birthday year with songs old and new.

My best mate & I saw you perform at the Colchester Arts Centre back in 1998 when we were at uni & we've been fans ever since. She passed away in 2022. Your music will always hold a special place in my heart & remind me of her x
was at the first Gig in Buxton tonight and Kates voice is ridiculous no one should have wonderful tone and sheer velvet vocals its not fair to us mere mortals, safe to say the first leg of the tour was magnificent thank you for such a brilliant performance
