I'm very pantsery and I find Plottr to be a good tool for story level revisions. It helps me visualize plot points and character arcs and figure out how I did as I pantsed my way through things.
Thank you so much for this comment! I don’t have this perspective so thanks for sharing your experience with it. Great to know that people who aren’t like strict plotters can get use out of it too. And it makes so much sense to use for revision because at that point you’ve already gotten to draft in a discovery writer sort of way
I use book calendars a lot and so I would adore one. I have heard of people requesting timelines also, like when they have worldbuilding history spanning many years which would also be interesting. And thank you for watching!
I got Plottr last year after watching your video and it has been so helpful! About to start drafting a new project and excited to really use more features this time!
I love Plottr and watched your Fold class and it was kind of incredible! Plottr has a lot of features that, like Scrivener, make it a little overwhelming at first.
Glad you enjoyed the Fold class! And absolutely, it very much has that scrivener type learning curve. And similarly, I feel like the average user will have a lot of features they don’t use, but it’s nice to have the options
My template for save the cat really doesn’t have any special details. In fact, it’s lacking a lot because it’s just to remind me of things. And it’s not in any special arrangement either. I’d actually be embarrassed to share it as is 😅 it’s really not helpful. I think you would be better off just referencing the book. Otherwise, I believe that save the cat is going to be added to the included Plottr templates soon
@@arzabael I’ve mentioned using it in a lot of past videos, actually! And I’d be shocked if anyone actually wrote their book in Plottr. So the two programs naturally work well in tandem

I never would have thought about a calendar. I'm glad it still works for you. Thanks for another thorough review.

Im so happy to hear that!! And I hope you get good use out of the new features. I’m hoping they’ll have another update soon too
So excited to watch this!!

Did I tell you that I got Plottr thanks to you sharing your experience with it? It makes creating intricate plot lines manageable. 😁💛
Oh yay!! I’m so happy that it’s working for you!
Spectacular. You addressed each of the questions I had as I look at this new piece of software. Thank you thank you thank you
Amazing!! So glad it was helpful!
This sounds amazing and the solution I have been searching for!
Yay! I hope it works out for you!!
@@LiselleSambury you've given me great ideas on how to use the app, too. Thank you!
Like others here, I also got Plottr after watching your first video and have found it so handy!
Haha I’m glad I could do some positive influencing! I really do find it so useful and I’m happy that other people are getting that out of it too
Wow! This is so helpful. ❤
I’m happy it was!
Great video. Thanks. Could you please share your template for plottr save the cat. I won’t mind paying for it.

You have no idea how much power this video has over Scrivener’s bottom line
🤣 I actually like and use scrivener too lol
@@LiselleSambury haha you should have said that? People at scrivener see this stuff!

@@LiselleSambury that is good to hear and nice of you to say!! Good luck with all your projects and I wish you and yours well amen.
