Like they said if he sells 100-200 at $200 every 3 months, that’s a good supplement to his gym. Not every product needs to be a million dollars year one. I’m sure he’s doing good. It’s a neat idea that I think the sharks missed the injury part. That these are injury resistant compared to smashing your hand against a bag or person.
I personally have done this “workout” by holding dumbbells. Weighted gloves I don’t think is necessary a new idea either, maybe with water. I feel like weighted gloves with sand already exists? But the ability to fill/unfill with water makes traveling easier, if you travel a lot.

As a boxer it seems like a good idea to have but I think he should market it more as a workout accessory rather than a REPLACEMENT for a heavy bag cause in theory it seems great but the benefits of a heavy bag are that it helps you with gauging distance allows you to practice combos while feeling the impact of hitting an object and gathering back into your stance you could honestly get the same results shadowboxing with 3 pound weights in your hands, respect him for trying to find a solution though cause it definitely is an issue

Ali vs Frasier....Ali vs Foreman....it wasn't just speed that won those fight but stamina and endurance was the victor for Ali. If his stamina and endurance was anything of the lesser in those fights, Frasier and foreman being much slower would have easily over powered Ali.
Speed is very important but it more of an attribute of a boxer. Of course a slow boxer will have the hardest time catching a fast boxer but a boxers mind is the most powerful attribute of a boxer. You go in the ring hot headed or you go in the ring under estimating your opponent, you done lost before you even touched the ropes.
I was trained once by a 75 yrs old coach. He was very skinny and frail at that time. He was able to land serious punches sparring the best of the boxers in the club by using his head. Countering and using the momentum of the opponents power, speed and movement against them. He fought hands down and barely moved from the center of the ring. Mind, soul and the body follows after.

I use to box, and these gloves seem great. They aren’t going to replace training in a real gym, but they’re perfect for a workout on your own - as both practice and conditioning.
We even did drills where we held hand weights. These are better, because you can still make a real fist. The main drawback is the price point … but people in the boxing/mma community are very dedicated to the sport.
Along those lines, they’d also be great for home fitness - like those “fitness kickboxing” gyms. As a woman, I hate that their customers (mainly women) think they’re training, but most of those gyms don’t teach ANY technique. Here, you could make workout videos - that also double as promotional videos.

When he started explaining the product i was 100% sure that the idea is that the gloves with water in are so soft and safe that u don't need a boxing bag because you are safe to hit something hard like a wall or a big tree for example. He said none od that and it's just a pair of gloves that are heavy so I guess that there is 100 more options for training like this for example normal gloves with some added weight on your wrist.

My daughter is in the beginning stages (she's 5) & this seems like it would be great to train with at home or on-the-go. It also introduces alternative reflexes to the sport & boxing method. Plus, his pitch started out with him stating the benefits were to reduce harm to the boxer's hands. It's truly innovative TBH. He needs to carryon; he'll be the Steve Jobs of boxing equipment.
