Apparently Nia performed Down To The River and Goodbye Maya in off show competitions, but we don’t have either 😔
Disclaimers: I may have missed some, so if I did, please let me know and I’ll tell you where I would’ve ranked it! I’m also a bit unsure about I Wanna Be A Rockette and The People’s Choice. Technically, I Wanna Be A Rockette was performed late Season 1 for the first time and then performed but unaired on show early Season 2, and then performed again later Season 2, which is the version we have. As for The People’s Choice, since it’s Sheer Talent it may have actually been an on show competition but unaired, I’m not too sure about that one 🫠
Can you do 4 seprate vids ranking girls on how much you enjoyed watching each girl in solos,duets,trios and groups. For example the solos one my favorite to watch is chloe so she would be 1st and my least is nia/gia so one of them would be last. But your own opinion based on technique, emotion and your overall bias

Oh wow! I’m going to watch the off show birthday solo now. The turns were much better off show in my opinion and she was much more graceful. Can’t wait to see it!
I strongly recommend it! The off show version of Birthday is even better than the on show one - fluidity and turns were stunning!
I loveee leaving berlin/breaking down walls so much! Is the competition (in the video) the one she reputedly got a perfect score? It's been a rumour circulating in my mind and I haven't saw any proofs yet 🥲 Good video!
I have video ideas actually! Ranking every Maddie tap solo (including before the show), Ranking every music career/songs from the dancers, and add a point dance moms edition (this could work with anything but I wished it's for less-known dances (ex: Nia-Wonder Woman) 💗💗

Leaving Berlin is a favorite solo from Maddie. Her emotions got me fully connected with the story. I cried while watching this solo❤
I love leaving berlin maddie was really good in that dance
She was amazing in it! It always gives me chills and was so advanced for her age
it baffles me that working girl and 20's scat are in the same season.. she really was working hard cause the control and technique improvement is there.
that’s so cool that for “the girl i wanna be” the lyrics to the background song matched the title of the dance when it showed up
leaving berlin was Maddie's breakthrough.. from that point of s3 until the end.. she was truly the best of the best.
Love your videos! I would maybe put the party starts right now, quiet voices a little higher and also the game of love, I completely agree with the others though!

Amazing edit! I think red and Boys like you were great because we got the full solo of it , I wish dance moms lifetime would actually show full solo than cut half of it out

I don't know if this counts since it was a bonus scene but I would add "Call me back", is my favorite solo from Jojo, she was so entertaining.

I just thought of a video idea!!!
Choosing which version of a dance you liked more. You’ll compare an on show dance to an off show performance, for example i prefer “birthday” at Nuvo over the show
Or red w/ envy & frost both have like 3 off show performances & you can choose which version you prefer & why.
You can even add the reunion or recital versions. It would be so cool to see because dancers were switched out depending on what was going on.
For ex. frost looks different without chloe & red w/ envy has a version with Kalani as well as Kamryn beck. I hope this makes sense lololol

Quiet Voices and I Want to Be a Rockette are both outstanding solos from Maddie and Chloe. Some of their best from the earlier seasons

False was so gorgeous!! Kalani literally looked like a pro
The Raven was gorgeous but I agree.. EMPTY!! That first part could have been amazing with ANY choreography. WAYYY too much non-movement

Both amazing Season 2 solos! I also love 20s Scat, it deserves so much more love. 100% about The Raven. False is one of my favorite Kalani solos - she nailed it!

Idk why, but every time I watch Maddie perform "The People's Choice" in all versions, I find her lines and overall dancing remind me of Sophia Lucia's dancing in 2016. I know Sophia is much more flexible and technically stronger, but Maddie is GREAT at dancing next to amazing dancers. Just imagine if they had a contemporary / lyrical duet like "The People's Choice" or "Youth"!😍

For some reason I like the off show version of the raven way better than the on show version that we got. I can’t put my finger on why though
I agree, honestly. I hold them on a similar level, but I did think the off show one was cleaner.

forever wish we had more of that sheer talent comp from 2016 that maddies did peoples choice at because kendall did cold and clear (ruclips.net/video/L3yCxfZy8Y0/видео.html) as well as i have seen a photo of maddie and kendall doing girl interrupted (run baby run)

Ok so i always say S2 was Maddie’s “awkward phase” dance wise lol. I always forget how many solos from that year that I actually liked from her because i associate them with her overall performance that season.
Agree so much with this! Maddie’s tough to pick a worst season for but 2 was her most inconsistent and she was growing into herself and her choreography
But she definitely had a lot of great solos that season

Payton’s solo was a little young for her, It kind of looked like “Lights, camera, action” from the clip. I’m sure Maddie or S3 kendall could have done it
100% with this. She had a lot of overlooked potential. Her solo was cute and she did well, but it was young for her

I agree with you a lot with this. Most of the DEA 2012 dances were done worse then they were on the show. The only one i might disagree with in this video is Kiss Kiss a little lower. I mean, it already shouldn't have been Kendalls solo; it just doesnt fit her, but she did it better on the show in my opinion with energy and such (Idk about technique because i wasnt watching for that).
Agree with this! Yeah, Kiss Kiss especially was a lot better on show, very little energy off show unfortunately

Aww appreciate it! And yes, just keep going and experiment! Find out which types of videos you like - rankings, audioswaps, edits, roleplays, etc. I know in the beginning, I made a lot more intros and audioswaps and even attempted a roleplay because I wanted to see what clicked with me. Mine happened to be rankings, but everyone’s different! If you think rankings is what it is, start with some common “popular ones” (favorite solos, unpopular opinions, etc) until you like the formatting and then stick with it 💕
