    Nice improvements to an already pretty room. I remember watching the original video of these rooms. Love that green color! You guys sure aren't afraid of painting, you've done so much in this house.
    The light fixture is beautiful, so pretty.

    It's easy to imagine the original wood finish to all the trim work. Houses like yours typically had such beautiful dark wood trim. I like the green, and feel like it was a much easier upgrade than stripping all the old paint to reveal the original trim.

      @ourdiyary  2 месяца назад

      Yes, and the pop of green is fun!

    I think I’d like to use fixtures with bulbs that don’t require wiring. I do have smart bulbs that are programmable in several lamps. I just think (I’m 83) that technology is so cool!

    • @ourdiyary
      @ourdiyary  2 месяца назад

      It’s very neat technology and much easier than rewiring! We still needed to rewire the outlets though, so might as well do the light fixtures while we’re at it!

    lol, its made in china, what did you expect. the best way to tackle that is to go back to the place you purchased it and they will have instructions online somewhere. EVERYTHING i have is made in china and most of them i have to put it together. i dont like that they have rechargeable things now. the timer, vacuum, lamp, etc.

    • @ourdiyary
      @ourdiyary  2 месяца назад +1

      The rechargeable part is actually quite handy for us since we don’t have upgraded electrical in all of the rooms and some spaces don’t have outlets at all!

      @@ourdiyary oh okay. im just use to plugging things in the wall and forget about it. i now have those extention outlets all over my home and each one have 10 plugs. i have a usb for everything.
