This is so funny when you know what a real process looks like. An art process video you see every stroke whereas AI just takes photos at different points and pieces them together to make a video. So sad.
I saw someone else talk about ai "speedpaints" and someone (who is of course pro AI) commented that it was not a faked speedpaint but how the AI proceeds to generate an image. I'd like to take a moment to explain that NO, that is NOT how AI works. AI can't make art, it can only bash multiple pieces together and work with what people have implemented (for example, hair images and telling the ai this is what "hair" is, but in fact you could train an AI with feet pics and tell it those are hands, it will not make the difference because it has no way to know). On top of that, the speedpaint is GENERATED FROM A STILL IMAGE, NOT THE OPPOSITE. And to that one person, no AI will not become conscious, does not have feelings and do not deserve to be an artist, you are delusional.
I want to make a technical specification - basically all AI art models today are some sort of diffusion model. In a diffusion model, you start with a dataset of what it is that you want to replicate or simulate, and then you progressively add noise to them until they are just random noise. When the system is the trained on this 'diffusion' process, the aim is for it to learn to reverse it; this is done by finding transitions in that process (from each step to the next noisier) that maximize the likelihood of obtaining the training data again when run in reverse. So a trained diffusion model will replicate the training data by starting from completely random noise, and then progressively de-noising it on the basis of the 'successful transitions' it has learned. Notably, prompting has absolutely nothing to do with this process by itself: prompt-based 'art generators' are simply diffusion models whose de-noising pattern can be biased by referencing something in its training dataset, which you do by writing the prompt. AI produces images by taking random noise and altering it in a way that conforms to the patterns found in its source dataset, with a bias introduced by the prompt to get a more specific result. It absolutely does not do anything even remotely similar to the work of a human artist.

I think the AI art bros are just becoming extra jealous and annoying because if they were so proud of their AI generated art, that it was so good, that it would replace humans there is absolutely NO NEED to attempt to imitate humans. If AI art is so good, trying to hide it is just trying to scam people who want art made by a human being.

I hate Ai.. I despise it… My art and sketch process (when it comes to speed painting) could be considered if you micro pick at it.. even though it’s not. There are VARIOUS points on my work where I go down every layer turning them on and off just to see what it looks like and make no changes.. but my art starts as messy MESSSY lines and ends up as clean linework after like 5-7 redraws and repositioning of the piece
artists might know this but especially none artists or those more unfamiliar with modern tech will believe this bs. Why is this even a thing? Whats cool about seeing a fake art process. Like obviously this is going to be used in shady ways.
Un-even eyes for an artist is just part of the art learning process. Uneven eyes for an ai is embarrassing. You are supposed to be perfect! Also this tool could only be made for a scam. Making ai art and being honest about it is one thing, trying to pass it off as real is another.
Another thing AI generators do If someone has a full account of AI speed paints then they will always starts with a different thing For example I watched my art and all of it started with The sketch The lineart the hair Then the face Then the skin Then the clothes Then the extra details But this AI art account was all over the place First it was clothes and then it the hair on one speed paint And the others were also different
This is why I say I don't fear AI, I fear its abuse. While speed paints and time lapse videos have been around for a while with digital art, they've become an almost necessary step to prove we've made the art itself. But this is blatant abuse of a step that's become almost a necessity in the art community. We shouldn't have to consider filming out entire setup, but it's seeming like the next addition to the time lapse and speedpaint. I've recently been considering adding a webcam as a tablet cam to capture my hands and the setup I'm working with for future videos. I shouldn't feel like I need to, but with more videos about these AI time lapse videos popping up, I feel like it's a move to play things safe.

When I record my speedpaints I often already have lineart, a sketch done (usually just because I'm dumb and forgot to start recording) or I'm drawing over a picture of a traditional sketch I made. I always have the toolbar showing as well as layers and colors so the viewer can see everything I'm doing to make the drawing. The AI speedpaints I've seen (specifically for digital art) don't do this, but it sucks that I now have to figure out ways to prove that I actually made own art
Same, I've almost always liked to start my recordings at the line art and coloring/shading stage for 10+ years now lol, now people can try to accuse me of AI art because of this garbage.
It's easy to spot for now because the AI doesn't show the act of each brushtroke from beginning to end, but I'm worried about when it starts imitating that too...
this is so sad, eventually it'll get better and more people will just get away with lying and scamming others. bit off topic but still entirely related to AI: i've been feeling bothered by this since yesterday, but someone in this discord was claiming this AI image was their own artwork. It wasn't obvious, to me it looked AI but it wasn't enough to say it was 100%. So i looked deeper into this person's socials and there was no art pieces at all except for another AI image that was this time obviously AI generated. I asked friends if I should bother calling out this person for no saying it was AI, they told me I should so I did. I was actually very nice about confronting them saying next time in the future, they should say what works of art they've done had the use of AI. They doubled down and denied it was AI and uploaded another AI generated image. This image without any doubt was AI, even the easiest signs like messed up hands were there on the image. I told them that it was very obvious it was AI now, they still refused to admit it and said the errors in the image were just them being lazy about fixing things (how can you be lazy about fixing teeth that look like they're melting and broken?). They tried to say they can send proof by sending more artworks/sketches, I told them I didn't need it because we both knew it was AI, but if they really wanted to, to send proof they should record themselves drawing the entire piece. They start making up excuses by saying they don't have anything to record because they draw on phone, the art style might look different and more simplified because they're working on different styles, they don't have the time to record anything. one of their friends(?) comes by to back them up supposedly saying they've seen them draw irl. I tell them they can do whatever they want as I made my point. I thought that was that, but apparently people are still being fooled by this person. It sounds like it might not be AI, but guys, I know what AI looks like. No one claiming to be as good as what these AI generated images make, would make the mistake of a finger melting and merging into the palm of the hand. when I saw someone complimenting their image after that whole conversation, I just felt sad and disappointed. Like does anyone care anymore? idk..
Only someone with a lot of envy and disdain for artists would think about doing something like that. Like dude, you're already making the image with AI so why pretend you're drawing it?
Does anyone remember those old photo booths from years ago where you would go in, take a photo and choose your effect, i still have mine from when i was a teenager, i chose a drawing effect (pencil sketch to be precise), and you would stand outside the photobooth and watch as this fake hand rendered it all out before you got your print. THAT is what these stupid ai speed paints remind me of.
i think comparing an actual speedpaint with an ai generated one, so far, we should still be able to immediately tell that it's ai. At least for now. The ai speedpaints is essentially generating a butt load of crap from different stages of a normal process which is why the inconsistencies are so obvious. why do people even make these kinda of ai models like.....
If we can't even use a speedpaint as evidence anymore, how the heck are we supposed to prove that we are human? I am not subjecting myself to the bullies and weirdos on twitch just to prove to you that I'm human. I can show you the layers, that should be enough.
Now I need a twitch account to stream how I draw, maybe my style doesn't look like stereotypical ai art but I saw some ai models that made those funny sketchy chibis that most of the beginners can do and other more unique styles so I want to prove that my drawings are from my skill not some robot😠
Honestly this is so unfair to digital artists now, the fact that speed paints arent enough to show that I'm a real artist because of stupid AI pisses me off. As someone who barely have time to do livestreams, if I decide to post my art in the future this is bound to go bad for me. Hopefully other people can recognise my art as REAL art because I'll loose it if someone accuse my own HARD work of being AI generated.
It helps to have someone like you posting the speedpaints generated by AI and point out how it's clear they're AI but I think the bigger worry about this tech is that the normal art consumer won't notice that this looks weird or unusual. Only artists will look at the speedpaint and be like "something feels off here" because they know how the drawing process should work. But a normie won't know and that's the issue here with this tech. And this is coming from an artist who sometimes uses AI image generators to create ideas for my pieces for later down the line, there is 100% a use for generative AI as a tool. Even setting aside the ethics of many open source generative AI models, there's no ethical reason why someone would want to use this kind of gen AI model. Like what is the purpose of making a minimally competent speedpaint to make your AI generated artwork look like it was hand made at a first glance? The original tweeter hit the nail on the head here, it's stuff like this that flies in the face of any ethical or practical use of gen AI as a tool for artists, it's a cool tech that is currently being used by primarily bad actors trying to claim artistic talent they didn't work for and it's sad
what a good day to be a stick figure artist (AI doesn't even know what is a stick figure lol) anyways, the entire AI thing is terrible and it should be banned altogether lol- let people draw, we don't want tracing machines also AI art always looks so empty because it has no emotion put into it
Moral of the story: Only trust similar kinds of speedpaints if you can show the program it was drawn in or streamed it ig. (Like showing the layout and mouse or smth, my art program has something like that)
It's the Side quests that artists do in their speedpaints that are keeping us safe for now. We have to abandon the peice and painting a foot or two to make people believe us 😭
@@HyliaFell I personally don't post speed paints but it's really sad that a lot of artists I follow nowadays have to because people will yap in their comments otherwise. I swear- im waiting for the day i get accused of using Ai. I like to call myself a artist with the consistency of water when it comes to my art style, I got 4 styles but depending on my references my art style can change like- if im looking at a realistic art tutorial but my styles in anime, i get a odd mix, if im doing anime but im looking at pictures of cartoon and or sketch it all blends, thats all fine on its own but im the type of person that if i cant get smooth lines i blur the art slightly (ibispaint user) so speed paints are my only real show of work except if i happen to screen shot stuff. So it makes me mad when i see ppl trying to fake speed paints. If your so confident in you ai images why need the speedpaint as "proof?" XD its kinda funny but its also bad for us who cant or don't use big time art apps cuz now we're in danger of being accused of scamming or using ai. So i hope this stuff stays as botched as a home done haircut with bangs.
i did it on my own video and tested to see what it's like. i tried it and even if it gets good, it'll never be able to be as a passable as they thought.
There are 2 different type of speedpaints i usually use. One actually shows brush strokes. The other, easier one, is just a series of checkpoint images that show progression but not brush strokes. The kind of speedpaint I use comes down to was I planning to do a speedpaint from the start or did i decide to show the process after i had already started a piece. Most of my work at least gets the checkpoint treatment cause it lets you scrub back and forth between files to see changes you like and don't like. Checkpoint style speedpaint works really well for pieces that take weeks to finish or have long breaks between sessions. The ai does do a decent job at the checkpoint style of speedpaint and will only get better sadly.
Honestly I personally watch a lot of and post SpeedPaints and I feel like ( apart from the being able to hide a layer on that one art program) SpeedPaints can still be a trusted source of evidence honestly Atleast as the technology stands now it doesn't seem hard to tell what's real and what's ai
There’s an indie tcg that just funded in Kickstarter called wonderland or something and as proof that they did real art they did a time lapse. The artist started by drawing one eye and then drew the head AROUND the eye. It was just so counter to any artist I’ve ever seen draw anything. Funny and obvious they were just uncovering parts of the ai sketch.
while the way its happening is definitely not something a human would do-it continues to flip flop back and forth in the background section ignoring how weird it was at first-if i seperated the colour blocks (or seperate it to change the colour of a single part) and then decide i only want to change it slightly i dont stop to do other things inbetween changing the colour. i also dont use the fill bucket tool for that though, what i do is use the colour slider. sometimes i will change the colour entirely on the slider then decide to go back to how it was. sometimes i use the colour slider because i want it to be the slightest colour change-much easier than using the colour wheel to pick a new shade then bucket tooling it. if i stop sliding that part of it (assuming im not sliding all the colours together) without being happy its because im going to the other colour layers to adjust them in the same way. idk how the auto capture in drawing software works, ive never tried it so maybe it doesnt pick up the colour slider adjustments until you confirm it-assuming you actually confirm and cancel dont cancel it and stick to the og colour. it probably doesnt pick up every shift from the slidern but even then rendering the eye, and then undoing said rendering to change the colour doesnt match that at all. you can literally just take the rendered eye and colour shift it to green, if its because the rendering is on other layers and wont look right then its much easier to just slide each layer (maybe make a copy and slide the copy if your scared, theres numbers associated with each adjustment that can be used to make it easier) not start redoing the other eye, pause and go back, then repeat a couple times until you get bored. the hair? yeah maybe but the eye shit is just fucking insane
I was so mad when I first saw this, because the only use this has is deception. While people who have drawn for long enough will be able to see all of the weirdness that doesn't add up to a drawing process, the average person with no knowledge/experience could easily be fooled. I've also seen people arguing that this can be used "to learn how to draw," but that is again a lack of knowledge and experience speaking. This only looks like a drawing process to someone who does not draw.
Idk how to describe it or why I feel this way, but seeing the videos of AI replicating hand-drawn art genuinely made me uncomfortable in an uncanny type of way. Like, creepy. I know there are other kinds of human-replicating AI like deepfake and it genuinely makes me creeped out when you see videos of HUMANS made by AI
i know that the "speedpaints" the ai does is so easily seen as AI, but the progress of AI with us real artists is scaring me for the future. Like, i'm afraid that all of us artists will be out of the job and replaced with AI. I know AI has their own distinct tells of being AI and only certain art styles, but think about companies?? so many of us artists are already out of the job because animation places don't bother hiring real artists anymore because it costs them money. it's just so sad to see and i really hope that AI doesn't improve from this.
The problem is it is bad for now, but it will most likely become more deceiving in the future. It was only like almost 2 years ago when ai used to make images that were somewhat uncanny and weird, but now we can barely tell a difference between ai images and actual real art.
Wow it's really scary I saw the first version of this fake SpeedPaint from AI a long time ago the process was more like abstract until it becomes more rendered since AI doesn't know how to do sketch and such but now it's really improve alot it can now mimic sketch process and coloring although it's not perfect yet but I can see the improvement and I'm sure in the future it will look more believable and it's giving chills
from what i can see, the speedpaint AI has no concept of time, its probably a stable diffusion model that has a slider from 0% finished to 100% finished drawing and then the animation is just stepping though those, and stable diffusion is really random so thats why theres really no consistency throughout the speedpaint
I do it as well, especially if it's cel-shaded artwork. Sometimes just a tiny fraction over in the colorwheel can make all the difference to what I need, or might throw the color balance off. Don't listen to her talk about art, though. She's extremely amateur at it but wants to come off as a professional so she can build clout from art drama. :/ It's sad.
LOL I love that I made a comment about this in last video now she's covering it :D (mostly funny because last video she said ai can't do this ,glad light was shined on it now that it can, and also not glad...because more bad eggs will use it..sigh, double edge sword moment) Like I said in my last comment only a matter of time people do these fake speed paints showing a art software with it too, soon NO artist is going to be able to prove they are doing the work themselves unless they record their FERKING COMPUTER if this nonsense keeps up. Digital art is getting dragged through the mud with software like this to "better AI" in the WRONG direction. 0:35 for now Kat, for now, even a art stream might someday be faked lol. 2:50 Same thing can be achieved if you don't like how light the linework/sketchwork is, like say if you sketch with a low opacity, you would either bring that opacity up to be darker, or copy the same layer to make it darker. (If a human was doing it anyways) I've done that myself before if I'm happy with a area after the first try. Was mostly during a experiment thing though testing different ways to sketch/ink with diff settings and brushes lol. 3:51 oh god, what if AI learns from real speed paints. DOOMMED. Can't learn from mine though XD my sketch process is a chaotic mess. I normally avoid showing it but might have to show it in the future. Though it could go either way being seen as human or as AI (if AI used color to sketch) because how much my sketching stage makes no sense due to how I self taught myself =soft cry= 8:12 Video ends then some other stuff happens? lol. 9:30 So I assume this video will be edited later? Ohh so she knew about the fake AI speed paints for awhile then, because sounds like she's talking about a video she made some time ago, I checked was 2 weeks ago. Same outfit. So this was added on at the end since same topic. I understand now 14:21 I said before we'd have to record our PC's but seems AI speed paint is also coming for traditional artists huh, least their hands are still broken as ever, would need to use like unreal engine or something to get those hands right lol. Ah back to being scared about the future. 20:59 I can't draw dragons to save my life, and mine could still be better then this weird dragon XD That wing is a tail! 24:46 NOOOO not the flame butt! lol. good drawing though, the body shape with how the back legs look is very cute. Hopefully I didn't make any typos with this, I'm still waking up DX

I agree with your sentiment, but when you say "I'm not saying this to real artists when they make these mistakes," it does not help. it's like calling someone with personality problems fat and adding "I am not saying this to all fat people". People will be offended.
if you've watched an actual authentic speed paint, it'll be 2 things 1. the program records the history so everything you do in the art that comes up on the history panel is the output. there will be no skipping of any line to form a perfect shape instantly unless its cheated or faked 2. its screen recorded, obviously you cannot fake this one as there's just too many moving things around, unless they do a lot of constant cuts in between processes. if you commission an artist, its safe to have the speed paint be screen recorded rather than software output woah there's a vod archive in the video
I think it will be a long while before these “speed paints” look legit, if ever. From my experience, 1 image recognition neural network that barely worked, the drawing process is far too random and differs too much between people making the art. It would take loooads of work from actual artists training it and I can’t imagine any artists that would be worth having on the project that would take part.

As someone who primarily draws traditional and tried a couple of times digitally just to toss it out of frustration, I'm scared now how my bad habits could make my sketches look like it's plastered with bad artifact fragments of an ai tool 😭 I always got the bad habit of either start rendering or shading parts of my sketch when the other part isn't done yet or smudge it so bad that it looks like artifact left overs :') I'm a really messy sketcher :''') Thank god i don't share my monstrosities, it would really hurt my ego being called an ai-artist. I hate Ai.. I despise it…
My art and sketch process (when it comes to speed painting) could be considered if you micro pick at it.. even though it’s not.
Like obviously this is going to be used in shady ways.
kat, queen, there’s a lil editing issue at the end 😭
Un-even eyes for an artist is just part of the art learning process.
Uneven eyes for an ai is embarrassing. You are supposed to be perfect!
Also this tool could only be made for a scam. Making ai art and being honest about it is one thing, trying to pass it off as real is another.
Another thing AI generators do
If someone has a full account of AI speed paints then they will always starts with a different thing
For example I watched my art and all of it started with
The sketch
The lineart
the hair
Then the face
Then the skin
Then the clothes
Then the extra details
But this AI art account was all over the place
First it was clothes and then it the hair on one speed paint
And the others were also different
Girlie pop i think you accidentally put 2 videos into one lol
this is so funny lol
This is so uncanny. These "speed paints" read more like timelapse WIP photos
Fr
7:49 Why is there a random black screen after the outro in the middle of the video?
I don't know but I thought the video ended until I realised how long it is 😂
probably an editing mistake
Either editing mistake or to add more time to get more ads
She's in Japan right now so I can imagine her trying to edit content correctly from her hotel room but not realising the mistakes she's making 😂 girl probably just wants to get this out as fast as possible, then have fun
@@FroggycolouringNah because you can add as much ads as you want in a video as long as this, I doubt it's for revenue since RUclipsrs can control the ad placements and how many ad breaks which I haven't seen from her... she probably didn't intend to leave the black screen for that long- she also accidentally leaves footage (possibly meant to be for another video) around 9:31 hahaha, I think she was breaking down a large stream for content but messed up whilst she was on vacation
Was the video supposed to end 8 minutes in?
Probably...? she peobably forgot to cut the stream video and accidentally sent it as a 1 vid instead of 2
It's easy to spot for now because the AI doesn't show the act of each brushtroke from beginning to end, but I'm worried about when it starts imitating that too...
this is so sad, eventually it'll get better and more people will just get away with lying and scamming others.
bit off topic but still entirely related to AI:
i've been feeling bothered by this since yesterday, but someone in this discord was claiming this AI image was their own artwork. Like does anyone care anymore? idk..
Hey I think there's an issue with this video! It cuts to a black screen and then an unrelated video starts after, just letting you know! :)
WHY CANT THEY JUST LEARN TO PAINT
i think comparing an actual speedpaint with an ai generated one, so far, we should still be able to immediately tell that it's ai.
I can show you the layers, that should be enough.
something that makes me giggle is that the speedpaint looks AI 💀😭
I, too, create my sketches and line art in large, instantaneous blocks.
The original tweeter hit the nail on the head here, it's stuff like this that flies in the face of any ethical or practical use of gen AI as a tool for artists, it's a cool tech that is currently being used by primarily bad actors trying to claim artistic talent they didn't work for and it's sad
what a good day to be a stick figure artist (AI doesn't even know what is a stick figure lol)
anyways, the entire AI thing is terrible and it should be banned altogether lol- let people draw, we don't want tracing machines also AI art always looks so empty because it has no emotion put into it
it rlly depends what kinda speedpaint we are talking about because there's speedpaints that show the window too, and theres timelapses like this
Moral of the story: Only trust similar kinds of speedpaints if you can show the program it was drawn in or streamed it ig.
(Like showing the layout and mouse or smth, my art program has something like that)
Ai "ai" is like Temu. It's cheap. Might be more convenient. But it's still a garbage.
Way different and false
8:30 just black screen
It's the Side quests that artists do in their speedpaints that are keeping us safe for now. We have to abandon the peice and painting a foot or two to make people believe us 😭
Why do you feel the need to prove yourself to anyone? Stop that nonsense, lol. Just be the artist you want to be.
@@HyliaFell I personally don't post speed paints but it's really sad that a lot of artists I follow nowadays have to because people will yap in their comments otherwise. REAL artists end up going through all this and suffering suspicion while people are selling AI "art" For hundreds of dollars no questions asked 😮💨
AI just the worst thing to happen artists. I can't trust any artwork without having to do some homework now.
Hold on... 𝓘'𝓶 𝓰𝓮𝓽𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓪 𝓬𝓪𝓵𝓵...
Wow there is secret video on the end ( two topics in one video?,cool)
yeah nah, i dont think this affects much with how obvious these speedpaints are. should be easy to differentiate human speedpaints vs wonky ai
Idk how people can still say that AI is meant as a tool for artists 🤩 WHEN EVERY ARTIST HAS BEEN LIKE NO WE DONT WANT THIS ‼️
There are 2 different type of speedpaints i usually use.
Honestly I personally watch a lot of and post SpeedPaints and I feel like ( apart from the being able to hide a layer on that one art program) SpeedPaints can still be a trusted source of evidence honestly
Atleast as the technology stands now it doesn't seem hard to tell what's real and what's ai
as an artist who doesn't do speedpaints or wips, I am seriously screwed if I ever get ai or traced allegations 💀
No you're not. The people doing that kind of crap to people are not the kind of people you would want supporting you to begin with :s
Ai "speedpaints" look so choppy. Like multiple lines appear at once and sh*t. Ai can NEVER be even AS good as artists, especially cuz ai "inbreeding"
Video restarts at 9:39
There’s an indie tcg that just funded in Kickstarter called wonderland or something and as proof that they did real art they did a time lapse. The artist started by drawing one eye and then drew the head AROUND the eye. It was just so counter to any artist I’ve ever seen draw anything. Funny and obvious they were just uncovering parts of the ai sketch.
is there two different videos in the same video???????
while the way its happening is definitely not something a human would do-it continues to flip flop back and forth in the background section ignoring how weird it was at first-if i seperated the colour blocks (or seperate it to change the colour of a single part) and then decide i only want to change it slightly i dont stop to do other things inbetween changing the colour. i also dont use the fill bucket tool for that though, what i do is use the colour slider. sometimes i will change the colour entirely on the slider then decide to go back to how it was. sometimes i use the colour slider because i want it to be the slightest colour change-much easier than using the colour wheel to pick a new shade then bucket tooling it. if i stop sliding that part of it (assuming im not sliding all the colours together) without being happy its because im going to the other colour layers to adjust them in the same way.
idk how the auto capture in drawing software works, ive never tried it so maybe it doesnt pick up the colour slider adjustments until you confirm it-assuming you actually confirm and cancel dont cancel it and stick to the og colour. it probably doesnt pick up every shift from the slidern but even then rendering the eye, and then undoing said rendering to change the colour doesnt match that at all. you can literally just take the rendered eye and colour shift it to green, if its because the rendering is on other layers and wont look right then its much easier to just slide each layer (maybe make a copy and slide the copy if your scared, theres numbers associated with each adjustment that can be used to make it easier) not start redoing the other eye, pause and go back, then repeat a couple times until you get bored. the hair? yeah maybe but the eye shit is just fucking insane
AI can fake speedpaints now… real artists will really struggle once the fake speedpaints get decent 😔
I sketch in color with a colorful brush so I am still fine, like use different brushes to sketch to brand yourself
Was the video suppose to end befor ethe black screen came up?? 🤔🤔
i know that the "speedpaints" the ai does is so easily seen as AI, but the progress of AI with us real artists is scaring me for the future.
But I thought being an artist was cringe and a waste of time? Why are they pretending to be artists now? 😂 These AI clowns are funny asf
Yeah, I tend to turn things on and off.Trying to find cern places, sometimes or where I accidentally put colors in the wrong places.
The problem is it is bad for now, but it will most likely become more deceiving in the future. It was only like almost 2 years ago when ai used to make images that were somewhat uncanny and weird, but now we can barely tell a difference between ai images and actual real art.
they're not even trying anymore, this has literally no purpose other than to pretend they put any effort into their "art", it's disgusting
Can people please stop using Ai for art
4:53 YES WE DO! I DO THIS!
And I'm not a beginner either I'm just a perfectionist
I do it as well, especially if it's cel-shaded artwork. Sometimes just a tiny fraction over in the colorwheel can make all the difference to what I need, or might throw the color balance off. Don't listen to her talk about art, though. She's extremely amateur at it but wants to come off as a professional so she can build clout from art drama. :/ It's sad.
the issue with this video is that some programs only save each bursh stroke in the speedpaint, they CAN appear suddenly
Yeah sure AI can do speedpaints, but they can't be as amazing, incredible and awesome and totally super cool as you HELL YEAH 💪🔥
o wow i never touched ms paint in years thank you i finally got to see it change
LOL I love that I made a comment about this in last video now she's covering it :D (mostly funny because last video she said ai can't do this ,glad light was shined on it now that it can, and also not glad...because more bad eggs will use it..sigh, double edge sword moment)
Like I said in my last comment only a matter of time people do these fake speed paints showing a art software with it too, soon NO artist is going to be able to prove they are doing the work themselves unless they record their FERKING COMPUTER if this nonsense keeps up.
Though it could go either way being seen as human or as AI (if AI used color to sketch) because how much my sketching stage makes no sense due to how I self taught myself =soft cry=
8:12 Video ends then some other stuff happens? lol. 9:30 So I assume this video will be edited later? Ohh so she knew about the fake AI speed paints for awhile then, because sounds like she's talking about a video she made some time ago, I checked was 2 weeks ago. Same outfit. So this was added on at the end since same topic. I understand now
14:21 I said before we'd have to record our PC's but seems AI speed paint is also coming for traditional artists huh, least their hands are still broken as ever, would need to use like unreal engine or something to get those hands right lol. Ah back to being scared about the future.
20:59 I can't draw dragons to save my life, and mine could still be better then this weird dragon XD That wing is a tail!
24:46 NOOOO not the flame butt! lol. good drawing though, the body shape with how the back legs look is very cute.
Hopefully I didn't make any typos with this, I'm still waking up DX
ai bros: ai IS art its a tool to be an artist! we should be proud of ai!
also ai bros: how far can we fake it to make it so people dont think we're ai
I honestly think it's less about that, and more that they're tired of people harassing them.
@@HyliaFell too bad they don't realize this is just gonna make it worse for them
Traditional art will have to make a comeback guys.
Honestly,I hear about people creating a.i. speed paints and I just think, wow, the artist community is starting to FALL APART.. because like what about the gaming community or something? If you stole someone’s video and let something else generate something like it, that’s not something people do, yet people are using ai to create speedpaints and trace peoples art?
Edit: sorry for saying something so much 💀💀💀
They wanna be us so bad but they don’t wanna put in the work
I am literally a minute into this video and I just....scamming is stooping to new lows.
I got so confused when the second video started playing lmao
for people that does speed paints and paint process videos, AI corporations has really been finding a way to torment the art community.
1. AI generated videos
2. generate images from peoples art work's
3. AI Speed paints
NICE what's next?. Honestly they need to stop adding AI. its ruining the art community and animation community as a whole.
the problem with speedpaints is that people accused of AI will post their speedpaints but then AI uses those to teach their AI how to make speedpaints
Artists DEFINITELY change color negligibly.I have been an artist for over 20 years and I do it. This is still AI made but come on with the uninformed baby artist takes
I do the same. I really hope there aren't beginner artists listening to her videos thinking she knows wtf she's talking about because she doesn't.
@@HyliaFellAnd here I thought she was this guru… 😕
I agree with your sentiment, but when you say "I'm not saying this to real artists when they make these mistakes," it does not help. it's like calling someone with personality problems fat and adding "I am not saying this to all fat people". People will be offended.
She have not learn from yuumei that sometime artist draw illogically on purpose or accidentally
if you've watched an actual authentic speed paint, it'll be 2 things
1. the program records the history so everything you do in the art that comes up on the history panel is the output. there will be no skipping of any line to form a perfect shape instantly unless its cheated or faked
2. its screen recorded, obviously you cannot fake this one as there's just too many moving things around, unless they do a lot of constant cuts in between processes.
if you commission an artist, its safe to have the speed paint be screen recorded rather than software output
woah there's a vod archive in the video
I love your dragonite sketch so so much. Hes perfect
This video has like, two outros (as far as i've viewed) and a long black screen. I thiiiiiink you posted the wrong video file 😅
jst a question, what about ibis paint artists who post speedpaints??
I think ANU is a BOT used to Promote this AI tool and that is why their post makes no sense and the time lapse has OBVIOUS problems
I was wondering when you'd discover this and it didn't disappoint.
Ai speedpaint is very suspicious, they clearly know what their trying to do, scammers are trying to cheat smh
I trust speedpaints with feets and amogus easter eggs on it
Kat, the actual video is only 8 mins ish. Did you accidentally added the back part?
I'm programer too, but i really dont like those programer write those shit to destroy art, they've stolen lots of art image from artist, and people say AI generated image helped them a lot , art should be easy to get like .. come on ! artist they have paied a lots time and energy to improve thire skills like other industry !plz respect them and thier work, dont let AI destory them , If u want thire art to make your own project like making game or app, plz pay money for them !
_Programmers are being replaced by ai too._
As someone who primarily draws traditional and tried a couple of times digitally just to toss it out of frustration, I'm scared now how my bad habits could make my sketches look like it's plastered with bad artifact fragments of an ai tool 😭
I always got the bad habit of either start rendering or shading parts of my sketch when the other part isn't done yet or smudge it so bad that it looks like artifact left overs :')
I'm a really messy sketcher :''')
Thank god i don't share my monstrosities, it would really hurt my ego being called an ai-artist.
(Btw disclaimer I'm not saying this speedpaint isn't ai art, just reflecting on how my mistakes remind me of some key elements of the ai art T.T)
As an artist, I'm gonna kms. (For safety and possible legal reasons I'm not serious)
